With prices like that, I would be inclined to sell mine as well!

Throttle House youtuber commenting how this is the best car in the world right now made it a easy decision to snag one.

I'm pay over sticker which hurts my brain (and wallet), but I figure it will be a free car to drive around 6-12 months seeing the used market on these.

Just speculating, but once production stops, I don't think owners will flood the market with these because what the hell would you replace it with?

IDK I still have a few weeks before it arrives for someone to change my mind and take it off my hands.

You aren't going to want to let it go after you drive it.

"Maybe" if someone offered me $100k over sticker I'd sell, but as you said, what would I move into?

The drive is definitely different than the normal M5 and M5 comp that much I can confirm. I had a 2021 LCI M5 and now the CS. Granted, I only have 180 miles on my CS now, but the turn in is a lot sharper, steering wheel feedback much improved, suspension feels as compliant as the base M5, and the mapping on the transmission also feels different to me. It is pretty crazy how differently it drives compared to the normal M5, at least IMHO having owned both back to back. Best sedan in the world right now.

Having owned and tracking a 2018 M5 for nearly four years, this is ABSOLUTELY true.

A much much much better car.

Now, if I can just nail down the six point restraints...., without modifying the car....

AND, I'm pretty sure I can get the center console pieces to fit where the pad currently is without modification or damage. Put the pad and the clips off to the side for reinstall....

It would be hard for me to justify the markups being charged. I considered Porsche before I decided on the M5C and really did not prefer the Panamera or Taycan over the M5. All that being said there are people for which money truly is no object. If they want it they buy it regardless of the price. I just saw someone pay $6.3 million for a watch with a retail price of $50k. :

Agree. I saw another post somewhere that Century City BMW (in CA) is marking up a "CS" model for $100K

what they ask and what they get it two different thing as well.

Highest official number we've seen "sold" is 75 over sticker, right?

Honestly, people work hard for their money. So, if they find pleasure in spending money on something that like; why not. Plus, life is short. I knew young man, 23 years of old, who saved over 100k, but never got to enjoy it. Bless his soul.

For different people; different money, different problems. Yes, money can be spent for a good deed, but who says they don't. Rich people drive exotic cars, and they also donate money to a good cause.

Yeah but you gotta one day sometime like idk say 2024 when the next one comes out and say , remember when I spent a Ferrari on an M5 . Why did I do that again?

Oh yeah, so the bummer fan boys on the forums could lose their minds over it lol

Where is that car anyway ? Lol

All seriousness , a guy like manny K**shoBa*i. Don't want to spell it completely wrong but you tube videos of his garage. He's a commercial real estate mogul who loves cars especially one off, someone like him wouldn't even question the price .
Dude has Hermes working with Paganinand Bugatti to make one offs for him. 300k that's how much the Hermes seat belt buckles cost in his Paganini
If I had every single CS car and every single M car in my garage and was missing one the only M5 CS the most powerful bimmer to date why wouldn't I complete the collection.

Or here's another idea , he's in the middle of a divorce and said you know what this should be funny , honey , you now own half of an m5 but you paid 1.5 the msrp for it , you want Monday - Thursday or Friday to Sundays ?

Also to the guys paying way over msrp, what if you get in a fender bender? Your resale value will drop significantly and you will never see the return on the premium you paid.
