These are oem Mperformance ones for the G30. Didn't want too much carbon fiber was afraid the carbon ones might be too much along with everything else plus these are so inexpensive. What do you guys think of this look? Subtle but nice. They are being wrapped gloss black most likely to match the gloss black the lci has for the competition model.

Garage List
I've had the primed/Matte version on a previous car (m4) and now the carbon version on my M5, and personally- I would say I like the carbon much better. The CF touches are in the perfect spots without being overkill or tacky with this car.

Sadly, seems to be the last tasteful BMW M offering.

carbon fiber is getting played out to me. I think gloss black looks better because of the deeper finish.

Funny I'm in same situation. Just got my F90 with CF front splitter, diffuser and pro spoiler but it came with black front grill and black side skirts. Debating whether to leave them black or order the other CF parts to complete it, really not sure.

Not done yet. I'm the M specialist at south shore bmw in Rockland but I live in sagamore beach. Just before the sagamore bridge going towards the cape.

Did you pay to get them installed or did you do it yourself? If you did it yourself how difficult was it?

It was a very easy install. Did it myself just need a plastic rivet gun, they only cost a few bucks online.

Hello Fotios, please post a few pictures of the underside of the car showing how these are attached with rivets. Also do you notice your foot hitting the skirts when you enter/exit the vehicle?

I do hit them yes lol. I actually went every other for the rivets installation vs using all of them as I thought using all was a bit overkill and when I remove it for wrapping I have enough to finish the reinstall. Just drill the holes and pop in the rivets with a cheap plastic rivet gun and your good to go.
If you want just shoot me another pm tomorrow so I remember to snap a couple pics for you.

Can you tell me how these are mounted? Also does it cover up and of the painted surface or do they just go under the rockers and extend out? Just curious since I took some sidekicks off a car and the paint underneath was destroyed from debris and stuff where it covered part of the quarter panel in the rear

Were you able to wrap them in the gloss black? I'm thinking of doing the same as you too. Can you post some pics of how they look now? And maybe the underside so we can see the rivets? Thanks!

I like gloss black for the side vents if you have gloss black elsewhere like front grilles and exhaust tips.
