Wheel spacers

Hi Guys,

M5 F90 with 20" wheels.

Which thickness of spacers should I use on front and back?

Links to purchase would be much appreciated.

15mm Front and 12mm rear is the perfect combination.

Thanks a lot for the advice.

I was under the impression that the wider would be at the rear, is this not the case? My RS6 had 15 at rear and 10 on the front I think...

No, 12mm rear is the biggest you can go, otherwise the wheel will stick out about 3mm from the arch on 15mm. 15mm on the front is fine and will match the rear perfectly. It's the most common fitment, some people actually go 10mm on the rear, but 12mm is fine.

You had an rs6? Just curious why you sold it? Presumably you are now in or getting into an F90.

I had an rs6 allocation until the dealer screwed me so I got back into an m5. But the rs6 itch is definitely still there.

I had an RS6 C7 for 3 years and it was time to either upgrade to the C8 or jump into an M5 F90 - which is what I did.

Audi had awful finance deals and the Vorsprung was the only model I would consider after my time in the C7 PE. BMW on the other hand had better APR and because I had never owned one before I thought f*** it, variety is the spice of life. The M5 is a beast, but the RS6 is the best car I have ever driven for pure enjoyment.

Ah I thought you were in the Northeast US based on your profile but my assumption must be wrong since you had the c7.

The lease rate difference was a major factor in going with the m5 comp as well. Pricing out an rs6 in the US based on msrp would have been $1900 give or take vs $1340 with nearly the same msrp.

But I am still looking at the rs6 hopefully in the near future.

North East UK. It's a shame Audi didn't release the C7 in the US, but at least you guys can get your hands on the latest model. Strange move from Audi really, the US was the home of the 'station wagon' so why they thought it wasn't worth releasing in the US beats me.

Over here the M5 was $700 cheaper p/m and yet over $10k more expensive on the book price than the RS6, for the spec I opted for. I just hope I enjoy it, the M5 has RS6 sized boots to fill... And they are big boots

What are your specs?

I'm sure you have checked out most videos but here's one comparing the two.

There's another member here also from the UK I believe who had the m5 but had to trade it in for an rs6 to accommodate a family. I'm sure if you search around you will see his post.

Good luck and let us know what you think.

If you're in the UK get your spacers from Evolve, order 15mm for the front and 12mm for the rear, they're usually next day delivery.

If you do not mind me asking what suspension setup are on with this set up. Its hard to gauge and do you have a shot with the wheels straight to get a better view?

Suspension is OEM. Only thing I changed were the springs. Dampers still work too. Here's another pic per your request.
