I would. Mine are pitted beyond belief now after about a year. But still love them from the backside and go great with my cf side skirts. Don't see the inside toward the fire so don't care so much. Would also help keep the noise down of all the rocks smashing into them.

Thanks for the reply.
Just got an email yesterday, and since I ordered the carbon door handles as well, those are on backorder, so waiting it is .

Installed the carbon handles today.

I've had mine on the car now well over a year and they still look great and haven't had any issues. For some reason there's a feeling of pleasure when you hear the rocks hitting the flap and not your car's body panel

Just installed these and worried about longevity. The rivets are not long enough and they are not catching on the inside of the fender due to the increased thickness with the mud flap.

Hoping the rivets don't fly off at high speeds! Think I am going to add some 3M tape.

It does not extend down far enough to stop anything from hitting your rear apron.

Ah, so simply a cosmetic mod for us in the states? Didn’t know that about the euro regulations. Very interesting, thanks for the info!

Yup. Sorry. Just reread what I wrote. Didn't mean to sound heated. Just had flashbacks of some old convos with people about these lol.

Oh no worries! In rereading my post, it could be construed as I was offering misguided authoritative advice, but in reality it was more of a question of curiosity in complete ignorance

You are correct these are not mud flaps or anything like that, BUT there is a common issue ive seen some M5s where the lip of the wheel well gets chewed up by rocks and debris and chips the paint. These would prevent that from happening id think?
