Hey,

I have a 2018 M5, I was told my exhaust options are limited? Anyone have any ideas on what I can put on my car and a shop that can do it?

No im gutted, it was a 3 week wait from Austria. Fingers crossed it comes quicker.

Do you have the particulate filters in the exhaust?, if so you will get the CEL and limp mode if unlucky. The UK law states these filters MUST be in place, however IF you car is early 2018 you may just not have them and then good to go.
Check under the centre area for them (2) .

I do have particulate filters, but I am going with the axle back one. So probs wont see any HP gain, just a bit more noise.

A couple of guys have done just that and after 1000 miles or so went into Limp mode with a CEL, BMW would not touch the car till the original exhaust was replaced

Yep that's what was recommended, however it may work for you.
Try it as you have it coming, sounded a bit louder too.

YEP they will be looking for those filters IMO.
It's up to you, you could ask at a MOT centre for peace of mind, they may say they don't, however will the emissions go above the limits for the car?, I don't know.

Did you get your Remus? I’ve just ordered an axle back also for mine, concerned slightly at the CEL will still appear, if it does I guess I’ll have to get the mid section and tune the car
