Holy crap...my local shop that is installing the H&R springs just sent me this pic. Said it’s necessary to get access to the rear struts!!

Ben - is this what you have to do as well??? Or is my guy going overboard?

Looks about right... rear seats down, bottom cover off in the trunk, rear deck lid off. It’s a somewhat invasive process unfortunately.

Uhm, I don't have pictures.
It is pretty straight forward minus the interior take apart.

Here is from BMW TIS. I managed to do the work by skipping some of the steps.

This is a really useful guide. I had to use it as a reference to fix some of the trim pieces that weren't set back in properly. My tech also fed the seat belt buckle for the middle seat through the wrong area of the rear seat bottom...so had to fix that as well!

I'm having trouble finding a distributor that includes the whole spacer package. I have an M5 Comp and looking to get 15f/12r H&R spacer kit with new bolts all in black.

Front: H&R 3055664SW
Rear: H&R 2455664SW
New Black bolts all around

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can find the spacers and black bolts as a package deal? I'm not sure what length the stock bolts are, so I'm not sure what size to order the new bolts in.

Reach out to Ben r33_RGSport. He stocks the ones you want...so unless he is sold out, he can hook you up right away.

I just got the spacers put on today on my F90 Comp. Front 15mm spacers and no spacers in the rear. Looks good enough to me as it is now. I would say near perfect.

I have tested the car up to ard 70mph and no vibration from the steering wheel. Question, is it safe for me to push the car up to 155mph with no safety issues? Given if the spacers are well made with good quality extended length bolts?

regardless of it's "safe" or not, do those kinds of speeds somewhere private. very private...

I use H&R spacer on my 997.1 C4S and took it up to 135mph at the open track day.
No vibration and no shakes.

Neglected to mention that when I mentioned high speeds, its on the track. During trackdays, the car especially the suspension and the wheels are pretty stressed thus the question on safety.

Hi guys!

I have ET 18 / 23 with spaces (original ET is 28/28 for these rims). And it's almost ok, but wheels are still a little inside... so I'm thinking on making 17 / 22 (HRE recommends this ET).

But I have a question for you. Have you noticed some changes in handling with such ET (18/23 or 17/22)? I've noticed that car is much easier slide with rear wheels (even with no MDM).

Why I'm asking? Well, I want to order new rims and don't want to use spacers at all. Planing to make ET 17 / 22 without spacers. What are your thoughts, that will be ok?

p.s.: attached some photos of my current look

Is your car dropped?
I have 10mm spacers on the front only and have not noticed any difference in steering.
