Has anyone replaced the chrome OEM exhaust tips on an M5 base (LCI) with the gloss black OEM tips on the M5 Competition (LCI)?

Trying to confirm if the Comp's gloss black tips will fit on a M5 base. Thanks in advance.

Yes. And they're black chrome not gloss black.

Thanks, Maverik259 ... I can't find the post now, but remember reading a comment here that the exhaust tips changed on the LCI both in size/shape and color (from black chrome to gloss black)... Does that sound correct? I may be misremebering!

Thanks, IND… Are these tips pre-LCI? I think the dimensions/shape of LCI tips are slightly different from pre.. Also, I think the LCI tips are gloss black versus black chrome. Can you pls confirm?

I’m actually preparing to order a few other pieces from your site, so if you have the gloss black LCI tips I’ll add them to my cart!

These gloss black or matte black tip options are both friction fit, so we would not be confident installing them on the MPE exhaust.

BMW has not been offering gloss black tips for the most part. They are really a deep black chrome that commonly gets mistaken for gloss black.

The tips are the same interchangeable from Pre-LCI & LCI models.
