Installed DINANs monoball thrust arm bushings and it's quite possibly the best mod I've ever done. Feels like hydraulic steering now and it's completely transformed the steering feel. Super direct, perfect resistance weight ( seriously..perfect ), and the entire setup feels like one solid piece from wheels to steering wheel. Love it, no pics though

I got them off eBay, part numbers are G018123100000 and G018111200000B. I ended up paying $280 for the pair after tax and shipping. You have to watch out: I came across some of them with out blind spot indicators.

There was nothing too complicated about the install it self, I was a little worried about braking the originals, but they pupped right off.

I used this video for a visual instructions, it is in different language but worked for me:

I'm curious now!

Did you do it your self, how much did it cost you and is there any downside?

I love the m5, it is just a few little things and steering feel is one of them.

Curious as to why you went this route.

Lately, I've felt more "comfortable" pushing the car. I'm just under 6k miles, and feel that proper breaking in has taken its course and i've gotten acclimated with the F90. I just can't seem to gain the confidence I had with my F82 (I know they're different cars)

I was on the highway the other day, and I really do feel like the rear of the car "hops" or could lift up if I were to run over the smallest bump in the road. I can feel it the most during acceleration and hard braking or braking from high speeds.

Did you experience the same?

I was looking at adding both the:

"Dinan Tension Strut ball Joint kit"

&

"Dinan Rear Suspension Link kit"

In my next (and final) phase of mods.

Curious to hear your thoughts!

Hi, just a quick question if I may? Does this impact on the ride quality?

Wish someone in the UK could report back on this having had it done. So tempted!

I wiped it down with an armor all cleaner while it sat in the garage.

I reinstalled my JB4 and water/meth system that I had removed after I was in a fender bender and knew the car might go to BMW for some of the repair.

Just installed mine this weekend. Back to normal for me. Have had them on my X5 for a few years now and it didn't feel normal anymore haha. Now we're good to go. Sourced a set for around $200 from Poland or something. Took 3 weeks to arrive but eventually they made it.
