I was able to download the software to my Android phone with the new App installed. I'm connected to Bluetooth and the car's wifi, but I don't know how to connect the APPS. (That icon is greyed) out.

How do I connect the apps so I can download the new software?

After the update, ALL the coding I had done, (just two weeks ago), was reset to factory f$*king defaults.

And the M1 and M2 buttons were reset to factory.

Haven't found anything else yet. Radio, EQ, seats, BT, carplay, etc. seem to be intact.
Yes, my M1 and M2 were also reset. Also, got a prompt after the update with my contact numbers displayed on the upper part of the screen, it was cycling through my recent call list, it was weird. I got out locked and unlocked the car, and it was gone. Previous update, my camera image was screwed up and did the same lock and unlocked vehicle and was back to normal. I get these temporary glitches after each update.

I noticed by default (efficient mode upon starting the car) the auto/start stop is active meaning the light under the ignition button is off. Prior to this update, it was always default to be inactive regardless if I programmed it into M1 or M2. It seems to remember the last setting but not the case since this update. Any way I can set the auto/start stop to be inactive at all times like before so I don't have to keep pressing the 'A' button or without having to go into M1 or M2 modes upon each start up?

I hope the update does not cause you to have to deactivate the engine shut off each time you enter the car. That would be a step back for me.

I did have to press the auto stop button again to deactivate it, but it has stayed off (light on) as before the update.

My engine now shuts off at a light every now and then. Seems to have a mind of its own now. Sometimes I'll go all day without a shut down.

This morning when I got back into the car, the engine shut off seems to be deactivated and stayed that way. Fingers crossed, looks like things are back to normal. Not sure if anyone gets these temporary glitches upon each software update. As mentioned, last update my camera image was all screwed up and this recent one the engine shutoff feature. Both times, having locked and left the vehicle over night, the glitches were gone the next day.

I did the update Friday, was my first chance to drive the car long enough for it to give me the option to install. No issues beyond needing to turn off the auto start, reprogram M1 M2, and turn back on the remote start option in the climate settings. I haven’t noticed any difference in drivability, sound, etc.

Not updating mine because I don’t want to lose all the coding that r33_RGSport did for me. I also don’t see anything in the update notes that makes me want to upgrade now.

Always worth downloading your driver profile to a usb key before a software update to keep certain settings intact (not coding) like radio stations M1/2 settings etc. Just in case they are reset during the update.

I had to disconnect from Android Auto and reconnect with Bluetooth only to get it to work.
