To those with PPF

Which ceramic coating (if any) are you guys using? Does it last?

I'd love to have my car ceramic coated, but there is just so little info about ceramic coatings for PPF..

I have XPEL film on the front half and Ceramic Pro all over. Car was detailed in August of 2018 and the water still beads and sheds off the car like day one. I use a leaf blower to dry it off.

My car is fully wrapped and I wash it with Autoglym Polar Blast and it beads for weeks afterwards in between washes.

Nice!

I wipe mine down with Gyeon PPF maintain after every third/fourth wash and I'm quite pleased with the beading. I found that it sticks a lot better to PPF compared to something like Gyeon wet coat, which was primarily designed for paint.

I want a ceramic coating though, much less hassle lol. I was thinking of something like Gtechniq Halo, since my car is fully wrapped, but there are too few reviews on it for me to make up my mind lol

I have IGL Kenzo over XPEL. Last and works great. Car is a breeze to clean and looks great. It’s not a BMW but that makes zero difference in answering the question.

I've got the XPEL front PPF in combination with a full Gyeon coating.

Almost every week I'll wash it with Gyeon Bath Plus. And now after almost 3 months I used CanCoat, big difference. I think I'll apply it now every month.

I paid $3000 for PPF custom cut and tucked (no edges visible) on the entire front section of the car, rockers, wheel arches, and top of rear bumper. Then Ceramic the entire car. Took 4 days from a well known high end PPF place in town. Their prices are pretty good too.

I believe Ceramic only was like $1k
