EOP F70 and F74 was 2033 if I'm not mistaken? That seemed long in my book but anything you can add on bringing EOP forward in time?

I can't really add to what is said in the top post: the data for these models had 2033 initially but was recently changed to 2030. I can't read the minds of BMW managers so either the EOP was initially undecided (but you need to have some number in the system so someone put 2033 there) or they did want to have a long run but then changed their minds.

TBH I can't imagine someone making their buying plans in 2024 based on those numbers, so it's all pretty academic now.

thanks for the info!

The new M3 will be both hybrid and.......heavy I guess...... But, overall, another combustion M3 in the future is a good news.

Definitely easier to fit a pre-lci rear bumper to the LCI than fitting a lci front end to a pre-lci

Yah. This was known for a while already. In fact, for the longest time word was the gran coupe would be the only surviving 8er. But according to the OP we're still getting a coupe and cabrio as well. Just not as a full-on M.

With the upcoming i3 being spied on the road this week something tells me we'll be seeing spyshots of the new 8er soon as well.

That is if they haven't been cancelled yet

Guys, anyone knows if m3 g80 sedan CS will get a LCI refresh or they stay with M4 CS only now? Since m3 CS touring is coming anyway, but what about sedan?

My guess is the shorter wheelbase doesn't give enough room for the battery and everything else that is in the new M5.

It is a shame as this could be the one way that BMW could make an M car with a V8 without it weighing stupid amounts. A nice little niche and something that would make it quite different to the M5

Any word on the new body style X3M? I’m in an X5 M60i now but don’t necessarily need the size, hoping that would be a perfect side-step into something more sporty.

Believe the consensus is no full-fat M model for the G45 generation. Only will be the iX3M (or whatever they decide to call it) based on the Neue Klasse platform.

Interesting take… makes a lot of sense. I kinda assumed bmw would just throw the v8 alone in the 8 series due to the low volume and less need for the M8 to be a headline technology demonstrator the way the M5 is

Any insight to end of production plans for the g29 Z4? Will there be a final send off edition or any changes between now and 3/26 in addition to or beside the handshalter?

iX3 postpone?

There are rumors that BMW plan to postpone the start of the iX3 production from 2025 to 2026 in Debrecen plant.

More likely delayed by a few months to November-December 2025.

Is it true that the M2 xDrive will kill the rwd model? Meaning no more manual M2 as of 08/26?

I can't confirm. However, BMW often kills its models before the planned end of production based on the market data.

Next gen G42 - G87?

Hello!

Do you think there will be some kind of G42 / G87 successor after this generation?

Or should we prepare to say goodbye, at least for a 2 coupé like the one we know?
