In theory, middle of November, assuming the exhaust/pipe production schedule holds. Big assumption though...

New orders placed today I guess technically are "delayed." All existing backorders were shipped out the last couple days. As of this writing there are no backorders on the SKU so the clock has essentially just been reset...

Still plan to release sway bars at some point but sourcing/manufacturing have been a persistent issue since early 2020. Hopeful we are finally starting to see some light on a few alternative avenues but only time will tell.

Hey is there at trick to get the piece in the middle of the clamp to not vibrate? Or do I just need to tighten the hell out of it?

What clamp? Don’t crack the epoxy on the cf tubes.

Assume you are referring to the reaction block in the center of the clamp bolt in which case tighten the hell out of it. Once tightened all the way it should not move at all. Whole point of it it to create a defined stop without deforming the pipe.

Haha. Sorry. So many Dinan threads I thought this was the turbo inlets one.

Still need to get to my exhaust shop and have them install this.

Yes, unless its the wrong size clamp on there for whatever the reason. If you have a photo shoot it over to support@dinancars.com and they can assist if something odd is at play.

Is there a difference between going with dinan x pipe plus a Gthous axle back and a full cat-back Gthouse? Is the front section from any other manufacturer serving the same purpose as the dinan x pipe?

Not terribly familiar with specific brands offerings but most use the factory cut points for the axleback section so thats essentially equivalent (although pipe sizing, muffler internals, and a bunch of other stuff may differ). The full mid-pipe of other manufacturer's are effectively the same the same as the Dinan resonator delete as they all eliminate the resonator and incorporate some version of an X or H. The full mids just does so with full piping to the cats and to the axleback whereas Dinan does not. We didn't simply because we did not feel there was a reason to. We could add pipe and therefore cost, but it wouldnt really add any value in terms of sound or anything. Typically the only time we will do a full mid is if there are no straight round sections to cut at that make sense (BMW loves hydroformed pipe). Really just a preference of if one less cut is valuable to you or not, and if it is, how much is that worth.

The last question. Is the Dinan resonator delete kit a direct bolt onto the secondary dp or there is a small piece of pipe left between dp and the x pipe ?

There is about 2' of stock pipe between the secondary DP and the Dinan X. You can check out the installation instructions for the piece on the product page or directly HERE to see exactly what everything entails.

What's going on with these right now? I bought one from a third party vendor and it had an estimated ship date of March 10th, and that was the same as on your website, and now it doesn't have an estimate and I'm not getting any info from anybody

As someone who waited over a year for there’s and 4 months for their exhaust. Don’t. It’s not worth it. It’s also quieter than just doing a resonator delete with a straight pipe.
