You've been in the market for an M5 since April of last year, it doesn't take 2 years to buy a car. If that car was $1,100 a month everyone and their mother would be driving one. Why don't you look at the M550i?

First, let's not derail the excellent content of this thread with arguments about what payments should be, etc. There are a wide variety of situations already posted. So, sorry for any distraction.
Second, not that it matters, but I purchased a different car of a different make in May of last year because I did not want to wait three months for my 2019 M5 Competition to arrive (I had just sold both a Dinan 550i M-Sport and a Viper GTS (last Gen available). That alternative car has now been sold so I need a new car. That transaction came up suddenly, hence the rental car. Third, I have already had three 550s and want more grunt. I've also had two Vipers and many other high power vehicles. What can I say, I like the power. Fourth, as I have always maintained, the f90 M5 is a class – leading car, but somewhat sleeper looking. You will note that many members on this board go to some lengths to make their vehicles look a bit more aggressive, etc. I am no different and prefer certain non-– standard colors and options. For a car costing $110,000 – $130,000 I expect to get something I like, both in appearance and performance. Each person has a right to vote with their dollars and I am no different. Further, a current custom color ordered car will not be available for approximately four months. This is about the same time that order banks will open for 2021 cars, which will include the refresh. Finally, I will simply post once I arrive at a vehicle to avoid some of the sharpshooting by various parties. Of course I do understand that this is a forum and everyone is entitled to an opinion. Have a good evening, and Happy Holidays! |

Dude im totally with you. You got some unwarranted hate from some members. Very strange. Deals are to be had. I just scored a deal of 1122 a month on 2019 m5 competition. So it's possible. I got all of it...full leather...bw audio...all the packages...carbon fiber pieces. So it's possible. I know another person from my hood got an m5 base of 114k with monthly payment of 1057. No msd or cap reduction.

Hi everyone! New to the forums. I have been tossing around the idea of picking up an F90. I've been looking over this post and others on leasehackr trying to figure out my best approach and options out there for obtaining the best deal on a 2019 M5 Comp or Base.
Obviously I will probably get my best deal on a Demo M5 so this is what I have been on the search for. I found a dealer with a Demo 2019 M5 Comp with an MSRP of $121,195. This car has been in the dealer's inventory for 300+ days. I emailed the Sr. Sales Manager, and CC'd the General Sales managers asking what the story was on the car. The GSM emailed me back saying that it was a special order vehicle for one of their regular customers. The customer was traveling abroad and "after a series of unfortunate events" he was unable to move forward with the purchase. The car has since been his personal demo vehicle. Current milage is about 900 miles. The GSM came right back at me with "what is your proposal for a deal". I told him that I was looking for 20% off MSRP. I figured that he would either reply with a "stop asking my time", or something along those lines. He replied back pretty quickly that he would be comfortable with 14.5% off MSRP before any incentives. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? This was all in about 3 emails. Is there anymore meat on the bone for more money off MSRP for me? Is 20% asking too much? This car has a build date of 11/2018, and has been in their inventory for 300+ days. How hard should I push? |

I am going to push back with my 20% off offer tomorrow evening to make sure that he knows that I still want to make a deal. I do want to make a move now, if we can make it happen, but maybe it'll be a better time to negotiate at years end? Last edited by BwatM5; 11-20-2019 at 09:57 PM.. |

For the love of god, does anyone have 24 month residuals on the M5? I drive way too many miles to do a 36 month lease (I’d basically be outside the factory warranty due to mileage after a little over 24 months anyways). However, I can’t find 24 month residuals anywhere. Hard to start dealing with dealers without first knowing that.
