You've really got a penchant for wanting to lease cars that don't lease well

The RS6 currently has some dealer markup, and the leases I've seen are around $2K for MSRP $120K.

I don't think you can currently beat an M5 or M8 Comp for great performance car value, relatively speaking.
I could buy them but then you're just as screwed so I'm weighing my options. No luxury car really leases well :

see on an RS6 I have the residuals but Audi gets you with a high base MF of 0.00223 from the few dealers I spoke with here. 24mo/15K has a 61% residual which would be fine if the MF was like BMW's and they had some incentives. Where it stands now buying a BMW not leasing makes more sense given the incentivized 0.9% APR which is basically like not having interest

That payment looks more like a finance over 5 years if car is $160k.

$2800? No, at the incentivized rate of 0.9% you'd be at ~$2500 /60mo assuming and OTD PRICE OF $148K so leasing is more expensive than just buying the damn thing

I was basing that on $2500-$3000 payment. Once they add in TTL. You could be close to 2800-2900 if you do not put anything down. Again this is finance. Maybe they are trying to discouraging leasing.

I always like seeing numbers without any money becuase it's easier to look through. of course at the time of sale that will change but I'd rather have things in black/white

I have one reserved at my local dealer
Planning to get the frozen green with gold bronze wheels like the advertisement. Want to look different from other M5’s
Also did your dealer offer a premium over MRSP? If so, how much? Just curious

No premium here. I went with frozen Brands Hatch grey and gold calipers. The green/gold-bronze/red is a bit too festive looking for me.

Assuming base MF, no mark up or discount on MSRP and a residual on par with a base M5 the monthly payment on a 36/12 M5CS should be $1800-$1900/month plus tax depending on putting down msds or not. I'd imagine residual should at least be a little better with the CS so a pre tax payment could be as low as $1700 with MSDs. That's still $500-$600 a month more then my 2021 comp with 127k sticker and 9% discount. The car doesn't really justify the price increase to me unless your heavily taking into account the exclusivity of being your local few that has one and actually driving it around.
