So are you saying that the cosmetic changes will also be include for the M8 starting 3/22? Any idea on how much of a price bump there might be?

  • Intro models: 218i (B38, auto, 135hp), 220i (B38, 48V, auto, 155hp), 223i (B48, 48V, DCT, 200hp), 218d (B47, DCT, 148hp).

BMW now adds the electric power to the actual engine power in its mild hybrid models, and the full hybrids list their boost power. My numbers are for the combustion engine alone in the former case and for sustained power in the latter one.

GrussGott Found it: https://www.eetimes.com/unveiled-bmw...-architecture/

G70 gets the system the chart calls "Highway Pilot".

You can also find more hints if you google "BMW ADCAM".

Thanks for the info.

Does this mean there will be a non competition G87 as well?

AG is phasing out ICE development by cyl count. N63 is the final BMW AG V8.

Might see a CN G38 i5L and the Global JLR partnership vehicles should be showing up in the database now (new Range Rover launches in a few days).

A B58 hybrid like in the X5 45e is actually pretty cool, if they give the HO B58 with 382hp.

When the new iteration of B58 comes out, the 382hp version will be gone because the mainstream B58M will be tuned to 370hp and will only be used in mild hybrid or full hybrid configurations, slightly beating the B58O in the former case and giving a lot more power (exactly what you're asking for) in the latter case.

I guess the next M340i will have too ?

Thanks for the precisions, I like the hybrid setup more then full electric. Much better solution for my reality !

Since gouvernements are going to ram EV down our throat till we choke on them. Is the i5 touring going to be euro only or we might see it in North America?

G61 is not coming to our side of the ocean, just like G31 never did.

Good to know, so apparently there are no plans to update the B58 MHEV configuration for G2x Mx40i models. At least not until LCI.

Could you please comment regarding G26 M440i xDrive GC, do you see any hints until March 2022 production of:

1) Changes to standard equipment or new options?
2) New exterior colors or wheels?
3) Possible limited special options, colors or similar related to "M 50th anniversary"?
4) Any other changes (hidden or visible, even minor ones)?

Thank you very much for your contribution.
