Top Speed announce a couple more.

First up is a 1/18 AC Schnitzer version of the G80 M3 in Sao Paulo Yellow.
And second is the race winner from the 2022 DTM Lausitzring race - Schubert Motorsport (race winner).

Whilst I do collect 1/12 scale, I always felt as though something looked a bit off with Otto's E30 M3 1/12 version.

I am curiuos which Burago model you have seen??

If you like the model don't let others put you off, I am happy to admit I am a manufacture snob but that doesnt make my thoughts right.

If you are after a certain road vehicle and only Burago make it then it is ideal

I want an E30 325i Sport with a Mtec II body kit and the only manufacture that made one was Corgi, I is not a great model but it is the only one that has been produced.

I'm just asking in general. I'm not that familiar with car toys except Burago since aI had few from that brand in my childhood. That's why I'm asking what other brand are similar to Burago or are more worth it and better build quality.

Is there any particular car you would like a model off??

The three things for me that stand out are which scale which brand and the initial layout

I prefer 1:43 but that’s just me preference, 1:18 is a good scale as well and maybe 1:12 but 1:12 are quiet large so to me they are more like a single show piece.

You will get loads of 1:43 in a decent size display case and about a third of the amount of 1:18 scale models in the same display case.

If I am honest I am sort of sitting on the fence a little bit as I don’t want to say buy a particular model and them find out you thought it was not worth the money, there are a couple of other collectors on here that will help out as well.

If there was a particular car that you liked I would prefer to look to see what is available and show you the results if that makes sense.

1:43 wise Minichamps, TrueScale Models aka TSM, Schuco and Almost Real are all great models, not cheap but not to expensive either

1:18 wise Minichamps, AutoArt, TrueScale Models aka TSM and maybe OttoMobile are all great models and again not cheap but not to expensive either, your Burago, Solido are more for if you are on a budget.

1:12 wise Minichamps & Ottomobile are fine, if I am honest though I don’t really collect this scale so my knowledge is lacking a little but you cant really go wrong with either Minichamps or Ottomobile

The vehicle i';m looking for is a Lamborghini Countach in red. I used to have that car from Burago when I'm was a child. I'm was looking all over my grandmas house, but couldn't find it :/
I will check that brand you are talking about.

There are only a few options and it would take a while to find a good deal

You can't go wrong with either Autoart or Kyosho if you wanted to treat your self to a large model, the Burago will be a budget model but don't let anyone put you off.

08612R Kyosho 1:12 Lamborghini Countach LP5000S Red

74531 Autoart 1:18 Lamborghini Countach 5000S Red

Burago 1:18 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole

There are a couple of 1:43 as well, you cant go wrong with the Kyosho for Minichamps, If I were you I wouldn't bother will the Make Up model though as that is for us high end must have collectors

Make Up EM 439C 1:43 Lamborghini Countach LP400 / 500S Ch.1120148 Walter Wolf 1975 Test Version Limited 50pcs

433103104 Kyosho for Minichamps 1:43 Lamborghini Countach LP400 Red 1974 Lamborghini 40th Anniversary produced for the Asian market

You can also go down the Hot Wheels route and still pay a fortune if you get carried away

Hot Wheels Lamborghini Countach LP 5000 QV

Hot Wheels '82 Lamborghini Countach LP500 S Red RLC Exclusive

Don't see it as an investment, buy one that will suit you.

A 1:12 would be better of in a dedicated display case to protect it from dust etc, don't stick a model in direct sunlight as it the colour will fade

What part of the World are you in, it will help when I look for possible options for you??

Kyosho have also done a 1:18 and there may be a new re-issue due next year as well
