All legitimate points that I agree with. However I will say, 10-20 years from now we may all look back at the G8X and at least appreciate it being the last M3/4 to offer a stick shift and as one of the last models to have an engine/exhaust note. I hope I'm wrong!

For sure, and the G80 has grown on me a little (and I'd order it in black)...but this just excites me. Four bucket seats is so cool!

This car checks every box on my list! Glad I inquired about it with my dealership when it was just a rumor a few years ago. They started a wait list back then and I'm sitting at the top.

Timing couldn't be more perfect with my M3CS lease ending in December! Can't wait!

Agreed, there's definitely some creative accounting that went into that 230lb figure. But regardless, it's definitely lighter than an M5compeition can be, which is a good thing.
