Anyone here with this version managed to get My Trips showing on the app ?

As anyone noticed that it only show trip info with one key. My partner as been using their key all week and no trips have shown up only the one when I used my key at the weekend.

Mine is 03.22 and still not working. BMW costumer service is looking into it.

Noticed that as well. Though my husband's key is linked to his account, so maybe his trips are showing up on his app.

I have accepted all data privacy setting in phone, updated software on phone and car, driven the car multiple times now on long distances, hard restart of idrive7 multiple times but Trips doesn’t show up on screen.

I am subscribed to Connected Drive until 2023 with automatic updates selected so I shouldn’t be stressing to get this updated.
It’s been 4 days now and I have given up.

I am not even considering taking it to a dealer, car still rolls out the garage and onto the streets with no warning lights in dash so I am okay with it though I am still jealous of the lucky guys who got it working

Yes it’s got OTA iDrive updates. My maps updates OTA with no issues, it’s just this Trips thing that has refused to do so

I've noticed on version 2.9.2 that you can now edit the electric charging cost if it doesn't pick up the saved tariff. Under "Session Cost".

Still no donuts for me. Waiting for BMW customer service to reply my request. I bet that that the reply will be "your vehicle doesn't support this functionality". They do that 99% of the times they don't know the answer.

Is this a glitch? When I got my car a few months ago, the “New Vehicle limited warranty” was expired cause it had a lil over 50K miles … now I’m looking and it says it’s still active as if it was reset or something . I’m just approaching 60K miles.

I'd suggest ensuring that the following requirement are met in order to make sure that My Trips are working correctly:Vehicle software must be upgraded to July 2022.Data Privacy settings must be enabled in iDrive: Car > Settings > General Settings > Data Privacy > Individual Selection > Check My Trips option.App must be updated to latest version (Currently 2.9.2)Service update and hard reset in the vehicle iDrive."

So the answer is to upgrade the cars iDrive to July 2022 ?

I was told the same thing, and then it started working when I upgraded to the 2.9.2 app. The BMW Connected Drive team really are useless, nearly as bad as the dealers who have ignored my request to get my iDrive system updated. Unless BMW start providing iDrive updates via the OTA again, I can't see dealers being happy to waste mechanics time doing software updates under warranty...

Mine is on 07/2021 and My Trips only started to show after getting the app update to 2.9.2.

I pretty much updated ConnectedDrive services, as well as run the OTA update (it still said up to date on 07/2021) and then it gave me a popup saying the data privacy has changed.

Guys, by "updating iDrive" you mean (i) going to the App (world button next to button 7 on the console), pressing option and then clicking on "update apps" or (ii) doing an iDrive version update (version 03.22, 07.21, etc)?

This has been frustrating for me as my 2021 G01 X3 does not have Remote Software Update because of hardware compatibility. To update iDrive I always asked the dealer when servicing the car. I only can do the update apps thing on the world button.

I currently have iDrive 03.22, "world button" Apps are daily updated and have My BMW app version 2.9.2. And despite all that, still not showing My Trips on My BMW app.

On the LCI, navigate to apps on the idrive display, and press the “physical” options button near the idrive controller. This should then trigger a pop up menu on the idrive display where you can select update. This updates installed apps including the privacy system options, but not the idrive OS.

So it looks like my iDrive version 21.03 does not enable "My Trips".
My model does not have the remote software upgrade facility, so will ask the dealer to update.
Will ask when it goes in for Brake Fluid change in January.

Mine is already updated to 22.03 and not working. I also don't have RSU on my vehicle and I asked dealer to update iDrive.

People who manage to get My Trips on My BMW app could help us providing the follow information:
- vehicle info: model and year
- iDrive version (search for imprint on car's manual)
- whether or not it has RSU

Funny that you guys have an older version of iDrive than I have and still I don't get the my trips thing.
