Dammit……..Tartufo is really where it's at.
I just do black. Then black again. Then, oh yeah, black. What a nitwit. |

My jaw hit the floor when I saw the new parts available to the G8X M3/4. I knew it before, but that moment solidified why the F90 had to be mine. For all we know, It could be the final iconic version of what M Division has always been. Hopefully one of us has connections or the skillset needed to be the next CEO of M, and fire everyone who's shredded this brands heritage. I love bmw, and M, dont get me wrong....I just see this new M line up as far more extreme than what it used to be, what I fell in love with. OEM+ TILL THE END! Quote:
Thank you X2! Quote:

Vehemently appreciated. Thank you! I have mentally book marked "V.3" in my brain for if/when I update the wheels. Truth be told, these are my absolute favorite rims BMW has released as a stock option since the E46 CSL wheels. Im partial to a mesh design-type wheel. Who knows, maybe one day i'll explore a nice set. I do, however, think of my #1 most listened to artist, Jigga man, and hear the line "I'm young enough to know the right car to buy Yet grown enough not to put rims on it" from 30-something lol TBD Quote:
The downshift blip must be something that leaves you speechless, I'm sure. I've crossed a "bucket list" goal of mine when I got this car. I always wanted a German V8 with exhaust. I had a buddy with an '04 Audi S4. Nagaro Blue with Nagaro blue alcantara seats, 6 spd, and custom titanium exhaust. I'll never forget the day we all heard it- EVERYONE wanted to ride with him lol. I'll admit, I wish this car had a DCT transmission so I could hear those downshifts with this motor. Quote:
In all seriousness, it's effortless. The leather is soft, I find. So some interior paste/conditioner to preserve the quality over the years is a must. So far, 6 months (ish) and shy of 5k miles, I have not had to clean denim discoloration off the seats. My E92 335is was Black Sapphire on Oyster. I was scrubbing VISIBLE staining from pants off the driver seat every couple of months. Only nerve racking detail of the interior is the Piano Black trim. Yes, its gorgeous, yes its (in my opinion) the most fitting of all the choices for the M5, but if you sneeze, talk on the phone, change the temperature, change the station, and god forbid use the touchscreen, get ready for OCD overload. EVERYTHING shows up. Aragon is great. My second pic for the interior was Midrange beige. I LOVE MRB. It's so unique and classy. Tartufo, just like my exterior (fashion grey) was a stab in the dark. I never saw it in person, or sat in it. I LOVED it in photos. Significantly darker in person. I use "CINNAMON" as the best comparison for color. It is a crowd pleaser for sure. The white stitching is so perfect for the necessary contrast. Quote:
Thank you both! Quote:
Now you know you can't just say you're getting tartufo without hinting to the exterior color!!! Whats the build look like! Let's hear it! Thank you! I'll never forget it- my SA sent me a picture of the car coming off the truck and I almost vommited. I HATED the pic. I was like "OMFG IT'S YELLOW" I get just as much, if not more compliments than I did with YMB on the M4. It's unique enough to be in a class of it's own amongst the new found fade of "grey" on all cars. But subtle enough to not seem as though you're wearing a clown suit in traffic. Quote:
Thank you! Never saw it in person prior to ordering. I found 1 other M5 on here that was from 2019 (Pre LCI) and than a month before mine arrived, another Bimmerpost member in NJ posted pictures of his. Lawguy was the one who called it though, best damn color there is! "get ready for loads of attention" as I recall!

For those of you in the South Florida area,
I'll be attending a Sunday morning Cruise/Rally from BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL down to Key Biscayne, FL (which is a great drive, and gorgeous place if you haven't been- some epic lunch spots too) on SUNDAY OCTOBER 3, 2021. I was the 41st car to join the rally, so there is a great turn out of cars. This will be my first public event with the F90. Would love to meet a lot of the folks on here. Should be a solid morning/afternoon! Shout out to The_Werm for sending me the info!

Well great, now everyone modding their G30 or M5s know that their efforts will be wasted as theirs will never be as good as yours. Well done.

I bought the Z in '04, and back then it was a big deal. Cars have gotten a lot faster since then, no doubt, but that dinosaur with three pedals and a high-strung small block plasters a smile on my face every time I drive it. That's the whole point, right? I'm sure your M5C gives you the same joy - RIGHT ON MAN! Great thread you have going here, incredible car, great story - two thumbs all the way up! |

Have you considered the 863m wheels if you were going to add some wheels to your build? I think the titanium color would look great on your car. It would give it a custom yet OEM look. I'm going to go for them eventually I think. |

I think learned what “stance” was. That very day. He’s worked on every one of my cars. He’s my first phone call when I’m a week or so away from a delivery and parts are piling up, I’m making sure he can schedule me in ASAP. LOVE the team at EUROWERKS, I’ll be going to them for the foreseeable future! Thank you! Quote:
I start an “update” like this to post months before. I’ll notice something, or get an idea for a mod in my brain, and I’ll just jot details in my iPhone/iPad notepad. I value you’re attention to what time and effort I put in to properly showcase my F90, and grab everyone’s attention! I’m die hard for M cars and Bimmerpost. I have been since I joined in 2009, and I plan on staying and keeping up with more mods, and future M cars (as long as they aren’t fully electric) for years to come. Quote:
Means the world! Hours goes into one of these! I’m glad you appreciate it. Quote:
I smile every time I fire up the V8 first thing in the morning. I smile during highway pulls. Truly a great connection I have going with the F90. Quote:

I will have you know that your mention of the 863M wheels, had me already chatting with Cat @IND getting some pictures. You owe me half of what these wheels cost just for putting this idea in my head! Lol Thank you brother! People with nice cars who are rude or arrogant always disappointed me. When I was much younger I always said I would be cool as F with all enthusiasts. I was a college guy with a 330iZHP and I would stare at pictures of E46 M3’s, E39 and E60 M5’s and get so frustrated by how long it would seemingly be before my time would come one day. Blessed is an understatement. Enjoy the 540x M! Drive safe
