I need an M3 xDrive, if any of your dealerships has an allocation for one of those, my dealership has an M5 CS allocation and would trade.

It was probably BMW in Vista California. I was in the dealership today as my wife wanted to look at a 2022 X3. Spoke with the manager about the M5CS which is in transit to the dealership. He advised the vehicle is indeed 30k over MSRP and their sister dealership Encinitas BMW sold two M5CS's at 35k over MSRP. He stated no one is selling a M5CS at MSRP. I advised him there are owners on this forum that have already taken delivery. He replied that they must have a special relationship with the General Manager. I am glad for those that have purchased one at MSRP.

Money grows on trees in California. Lala land. Avoid CA dealers.
I can tell you with not a great deal of effort (relative to finding a Porsche GT car at MSRP), I've found 4 at MSRP in the past week. All on the East Coast and all sold already. Well, now that I think about it there may still be one available in AZ. And all thanks to some great people on this forum. |

I don't know, but maybe people purchasing the car at MSRP are those that got on the list very early on. I think GNALUZU was on the list around launch and got the car at MSRP. Now that the car is desired and limited, dealers want to take advantage of that. Maybe cars will become available at MSRP later. A lot of people have money to burn and $30K even more over MSRP is nothing.
Off topic, but I went to a Patek dealership yesterday looking for a Nautilus. |

I also agree that the initial impressions of the car weren't that great. But, now that the actual reviews are out, it's game over. Lol

There were lots of MSRP allocations floating around after the Evo 5-star review (i was talking to a few dealers in the northeast at the time). People only started to go nuts after the Throttle House reviews. Everyone loves 0-60 times.

It appears BMW is cranking M5CS out. Had two dealers mention they have 2 M5CS each coming in a few weeks.
For people who are looking for them, just be patient, they're out there especially with winter coming and more ships incoming from Germany.

If not, share names of the dealers and the SAs you talked to. There are folks here waiting on a M5CS at MSRP |

Got mine at msrp from a CA dealer
Hey guys,
I picked up my M5 CS recently from a CA dealer for msrp. It was pure luck. Someone else had dropped out and I just randomly called to check an hour after they dropped out. They were willing to sell it to me for msrp. I jumped on it. I love the car. It's amazing. |
