Thanks, how have you been? Nice to see you are still repping the e70. Thanks again for the exhaust! I can't wait to hear it paired with the secondary delete. Thanks! Thanks! Thanks! Quote:

Finally, a proper F90 M5 build underway. I can not wait to see how this plays out kimo, I know it will be sick!
Funny, I had an X5M when you had yours and it was a huge inspiration. Then I moved to an F10 M5 a couple of months after you.. Really wanting a new X5M this summer but I have a feeling you'll change my mind haha.

Thanks! Definitely keeping her in the garage when not driving. A good ceramic coating will help too. |

Mod update:
Car is lowered and aligned. There is also this thing known as feel back in the steering wheel. Not as much as in the previous generations, but at least there is something now. Car turns in very nicely with no roll and is still surprisingly comfortable. I was expecting to loose some comfort, but it really isn't that bad at all. Still on stock settings with the v4s for now. A little bit of wow here. There is no way to adjust the rear rebound without removing the shock so I don't think I'm going to be messing with the rebound. On the f10 you could just remove the rear speakers and gain access. Not so for the f90. Everything is completely covered. There is not even a hole in the shock tower to feed an adjustment line through. Also since lowered here are a bunch of pics. Alignment rack and then at a dead end by my house. All with the new iphone and I suck at photos. Good thing about a journal though is you can post junk pics as much as you like.

Thanks! No spacers. I try not to use them if I don't have to. I'm hoping the wheel wait won't be that much longer so I'll deal with the absurd sunk for now. If anything it shows just how much more space there is to fit a nice wide wheel.

Mod update:
So I have been receiving the next round of mods from IND over the past couple weeks. Aesthetics and exhaust. Wheels are supposed to show up today. Plan is to fit the exhaust this weekend and then the bodykit after that. Tires are on backorder so wheels will have to wait. Plan for this build is a homage to the older style of modding where body color and clean wheels that match the car were the goal. Think Alpina and you will a have a good idea of the goal. With that in mind the aesthetics had to take a clean approach. As such all trim has been black chromed to match what carbon fiber there is and the 3D design kit has been body painted. Well, except for an exposed cf line that goes around it. IND took some nice pics of the kit before shipping: They really did an excellent job of the paint scheme here. Plan is to install it next week sometime. Had to do a mock fit of the lip, couldn't help it: In the meantime I installed the simple exterior parts: front rear reflectors, roundels, kidney trim, and M5 trunk badge. Exhaust looking nice on the ground waiting for the weekend. Eisenmann race with Eisenmann secondary downpipes both in their ceramic coating. Carbon fiber black chrome tips are in the boxes. Yes that is a F10 system behind it that is also for sale: |
