My 458 had the $5k JBL option and GT3 has the Bose. they are both great... when the car is parked and engine off. ideally you want a large cabin with plenty of sound deadening for the best audio. like an suv or s-class.

HK in the M2c is fine for me.

The 700w system in my Aston is magic. Pure magic. The exhaust in the Aston harmonises with music. It’s a deep magic sound. The 458 screams over the music and the GT3 sound interferes with it. Best to just turn it off and listen to the exhaust music of those cars. I often start laughing to myself that the sound of the car and the music sounds like something out of a Hollywood movie soundtrack. Too good to be true. Almost too hard to believe. Ear to ear grin. It’s just magic for a car guy who also loves music.

With the M2 I think it just depends on your musical taste. Sometimes it sounds pretty damn good. Sometimes not so much. It’s so dependent on what you listen too.
