I think, based on those pics, you can just use Dr Beasley's matte paint cleaner and minimize the issue(s). Its much better than doing a full respray that may or may not match the remainder of the panels connected.

I received mine last week after filing for it on October 2nd. Certainly slower turn-around compared to the last time a applied for the rebate.

Requested status update about 3 weeks ago and status was "may take 3 months". I'm getting kind of annoyed. I will email Michelle directly next week if no update/no check receipt. |

Still waiting as of 3/14. Contacted FS, NA, CCA, and the standard response is "keep waiting" and no one knows how to check the status with BMW. Must be on a sticky note on someone's CRT monitor or next to their type writer.

Adding my data point. Submitted my application 12 Jan 2019.
Not exactly sure when it was accepted by CCA - pretty sure sometime in the 2nd half of February. I didn't get an email but have been checking the website every couple weeks. As of 16 Mar tt is still stuck at the CCA step on the website. I'll give it another couple weeks before emailing/calling. Sounds like 3 months isn't out of the ordinary for others and I'm guessing maybe there was a bunch submitted after the holidays? The terms of the rebate seem quite clear. Not sure what takes so long to review/approve them unless there's literally one person responsible for this across all of N America? |

Submitted mine on 1/23. The website still shows the status as BMW CCA Admin Review.
The lackadaisical manner in which they deal with their obligations does not reflect positively on the organization. Also, not only is their merchandise is uniformly unappealing, I think I remember their latest iPhone case fit an iPhone 7. No wonder they are running "please join" promotions. Does not seem like the sort of thing I want to be part of. I'll just take a check when it comes…

I submitted one in December for my wife's new X5 and they processed it pretty quickly (60 days or less check in hand). Then when I sent mine in for the M5 in January it's still sitting in "Admin Review". I emailed and they did email right back and say it's taking 90 days to process them right now. Doesn't surprise me though considering when I look in the other model sub-forums how many people have submitted applications for the rebates they offer.

For those that submitted in 18 - I was informed by CCA that BMW NA experienced an IT issue and some requests were rejected. They are in process of restoring these requests. DOH!

To summarize my previous posts: - Paid for car 12/27/18 - PCD on 1/11/19 - Submitted rebate stuff online 1/12/19 (immediate email confirmation) - Started checking website every other week or so - Sometime late Feb, went to "Approved by CCA" - Has been at "Approved by CCA" ever since - still there as of this moment So imagine my excitement when I see a BMW rebate email in my inbox today, April 5. I mean, I guess I appreciate the update. But now I'm worried that my closing in 2018 and pickup in 2019 is going to put me in some weird limbo where my rebate isn't flagged for "system issues" but is still stuck there. Also, what the hell "system issues" completely block up the review of a one-page form. My freaking tax refund last year came through quicker than this (and not on a simple return). I'm betting "system issues" translates to "let's collect a little more float on these rebate checks". </rant> Here's the email: Quote:

Still no answer on mine. Submitted 1/12. still shows "bmw admin review". I emailed and received a response about 6 weeks ago that they were still processing. Now I've emailed again and they aren't responding. It's been almost 3 months and still shows the same status as January. Last year I submitted one for my wife's new X5 and received it in 60 days.
