One was for pulling a caravan (T5!) and two were for doing 35k a year plus, from Aberdeen to Newquay, Anglesey to the Humber..... both D5's and both had great seats which was the most important thing for a car in that use (plus you could leave them anywhere and no one would want to nick them!)

When you are setting off back from Aberdeen to just south of Sheffield at 7.30pm on a Friday night, you just want to be comfortable and minimum stress for the next 8 hours of travel! 50mpg and cheap (17 in) tyres were a boon as well....

you see, buy what works not the brand. Its the future!
