How could I part with this beautiful car? Yeah it's a little bit expensive to have both of these fantastic cars...but there are worse problems to have. It was the only VO out of 160+ cars...finally late in the day a specially painted E46 showed up.

Wow, now that you mention it, you WERE the only (original) VO there. Nice.
I forgot to ask on Sunday but how are the brake shims working out for you? (After seeing how quickly you came up and slowed behind me on the way home, I'd ASSume they work well, lol)

Hmm what does a huge box equal? My guess is exhaust........or suspension parts.......or something for the interior?...........or???? Either way I'm jealous and looking forward to the pics.

Bastuck installed
After listening to the exhaust drone coming home from Welt, I decided to pull the trigger on an exhaust. Listened to a few Bastuck exhausts and liked the sound and we stopped by the factory on our trip home from Spa a few months ago....great group of guys. So using my VAT, I got a great deal on the 1M exhaust and Friday, we (as in Mr Kleen, me and a tech) installed it.
Boy is it a nice difference and meatier sounding at all rpms with no drone at 2200-2400 rpm. The worse part of the whole process was cutting the resonator out as this represented a point of no return. Took a little while to get the alignment right and it still has to be adjusted as after driving it seems to have shifted......but the sound rocks and worth the effort. Attached are some photos, and here's a link to a soundfile:
