I would honestly check with your SA first, esp if you're cool with them. Any tune/piggyback can be detected; that's is if you're concerned about warranty.

Awesome! Let us know what you think once you have them installed 🙂

Catless secondary downpipes do not trigger a CEL but power gains are minimal without a tune. A tune and full catless or just catless secondaries is ideal. |

I wanted to do intakes because I miss that noise, but they seem to be incredibly controversial on here lol. There seems to have been a lot of debate over the PG ones on some threads and after doing more research I'm now more confused. What are good sounding/performing intakes that aren't ridiculously expensive/is it worth splurging on the expensive ones.

There aren’t any must have mods on this car. It’s great out of the box. But…to set it apart it’s got to be lowered, forged wheels (looks and weight), tuned, front mount intakes for sound (maybe some power there when coupled all together) and downpipes.

Supporting mods
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good supporting mods to keep the car running as efficiently and safely as possible. I would think the turbo inlet pipes would help a fair amount but am wondering if there were any others to consider.
Cheers! |

cerakoted highflow cats + midpipe, supersprint cerakoted exhaust manifold, carbon intakes and inlets, CSF intercoolers, additional heat exchangers. TI exhaust. Last edited by nsanity; 10-01-2022 at 05:54 PM.. |

Bang for the buck mod is tune and higher octane whether via E85 mix or water/meth. Next, downpipes. Then Dinan turbo inlets and intake or drop in filters.
I’d put intercoolers/matching heat exchangers and titanium exhausts very low on the list of power adders. |

We do not have them heat shielded. However the temps are extremely reduced compared to the stock downpipes.

Absolute must is down pipes. I would only do DP's with no other exhaust mod for the 40+ guys with kids. And being able to control the sound with the exhaust button is very nice. DP's transforms this car from a pussy cat to a male Lion. Turns the car into a German hotrod that sounds incredible. I recently returned my car back to stock and now I know what it feels like to have your balls chopped off
