M performance parts back order

Do you mind telling me how long it was at the port before they decided to do that? And which dealer? I also in south Florida.

I think in total, my car was at the port for less than 10 days. I don't remember that part being very annoying or something that sticks out as a delay in my experience.

Steve Pelkey was my Sales Advisor at Lauderdale BMW in Fort Lauderdale, just North of 17th St on US1.

So guys I spoke with my SA today about this Issue and it’s the MPE that’s on back order and his parts guy said the earliest there dealership could get one would be in August sometime so let’s hope that the port can get them quicker or already have them in stock!

So update is my exhaust was on back order but came in yesterday and the diffuser was shipped with an unknown eta therefore I had them remove the diffuser and I ordered an aftermarket one. It’s kind of a rip off anyways so they said I should have my car next week!!

Yes my SA also said the diffuser was on back order as well but not as far out as the MPE!

My car is still on a boat somewhere between here and Europe but I was able to add/modify all accessories within the past few days. The one hiccup was the dreaded requirement to add the front splitters in order add the pro spoiler. So, now I will have all of the carbon add-ons. A little bit of sticker shock but I'm sure I'll forget all about it once I see it in person (which can't come soon enough....been driving my Dad's Honda Accord for the last couple of months as I sold my S6 back in April)!

Did you lease the car? If yes did the dealership make you pay the full msrp on MPE?

I haven’t received the car yet it’s almost to port and haven’t decided on a lease or purchase but the MPE will be installed at port and on the sticker so it can be discounted if I do the lease. If I purchase my dealership will just charge me there cost and not what it actually shows on the MRSP!

My dealership said cannot be ordered unless I pay full price on lease. They said it will be installed at dealership & not at the port. So I had to remove MPE. Is yours a 21 or 22?

Just picked up my '21 M5C a week or so ago.
Had MPE installed and on sticker.
Lease. Price factored into lease calculation.

Yeah mine will be at the Galveston port early tomorrow morning and it must be something with the 22 models that are having these issues with the m performance parts because all of my goodies are being added at port!
