Well finally after 2 weeks at port my car finally shows "In Transit". My CA informed me its on the Höegh Bangkok scheduled to arrive in Baltimore on 5/7.

Thanks! I agree there really isn’t a bad color choice in the bunch. I was also seriously considering Motegi Red with the Midrand Beige interior.

Hello! I am seriously considering motegi red instead of MBB. I currently have a SG M5. I am not liking the darker colors. Have you seen motegi red in person?

I haven’t seen Motegi Red in person which is why I went with MBB. In some photos, Motegi looks tremendous but then in other photos it looks kind of washed out and a little too on the orange side for me.

Thank you for replying. I used to have a sakhir orange which I loved. The only thing though it would look copperish at night which I disliked. Well I went ahead & ordered a MBB today myself too.

I saw the Motegi Red and think the color is hot. The Midrange Beige is also hot for the interior. Great combo if you want something a little more flashy.

Mine just switched too! Maybe they are next to each other on the boat. I am only 90 minutes from Baltimore so hopefully I get the car by the 15th. That is when my AMG lease ends.

More flashier than MBB?

Not in my opinion. Just more flashy then colors like black, white, Donnington Grey. Nothing wrong with being a little more flashy. I like both MBB and Motegi Red.

No... I assume it is same as yours? We sat waiting the same, switched to in transit the same and I am near Baltimore. Has to be the same. 👍

That would be pretty cool if our cars are on the same boat. Just checked marinetraffic.com and ship is almost to Southampton where it stops before going on to Baltimore. Getting ever closer.

Mine was on the Marguerite Ace and landed in Bayonne on 5/3. I called the Genius line and was told it hit the VPC on 5/5 and is leaving on the car carrier tomorrow for Monday dealership delivery! Quick VPC turnaround! Mine got the titanium exhaust installed. I will pickup the car Friday I think. Got to return the AMG this week.

Awesome!! That is pretty quick turnaround. My car is currently off the coast of Baltimore, waiting for a parking spot i guess. According to the carrier's schedule it's not due into port until 5/9 now. A whole month from the time it hit port in Bremerhaven till now.

I have no idea when I’ll get mine, it made it to Baltimore on 5/9 and I haven’t had any updates since then. I need to hit up my CA to find out when it’ll get to dealership.
