I'd be on board if it weren't FWD.

That's all nice and good BUT WHYYYYYY CAN YOU NOT MAKE A M440i Gran Coupé or M4 Gran Coupé? You've done it with the M6GC. However I have a feeling something nice maybe in the works for the 4 series.

Neither. Unlike both the current F22 2 Series Coupe and next generation G42 2 Series Coupe, the new 2 Series Gran Coupe is a UKL vehicle. So, as opposed to the 4 Series and 8 Series, the only thing this vehicle shares with its coupe sibling is a model designation.

Yup. Audi is for people who just want a nice looking car with a nice logo. I thought Munich was better than that.
But cars like the F10, F30, etc. show people like us don't matter anymore. BMW is not much different from Audi nowadays. |

i did not express myself correctly, i meant mor of changing roof line, small cars dont have "room" to change it, while 3 and 4 do have a bit more different roof line comparing these 2... and again, this is more aesthatically speaking than geometric with numbers

The 1-Series Sedan already exists, having debuted in China in 2017.
Sometime later, it was also made available in Mexico.

Not quite. For the FAAR architecture, which is the new name for UKL, the electric drivetrain will remain FWD. An AWD electric vehicle on the platform could be tuned for a rear bias, yes, but those aren’t expected soon, if ever. At some point, BMW will no doubt develop a dedicated EV architecture for small vehicles like VAG’s MEB which takes a rear engine, RWD first approach for better packaging. But that’s still a few years off at least. |
