For the most part. Was in a little over a month ago to fix the gesture control (part was on order since January) and the radio (bass cuts out randomly). The gesture control was fixed, but they had the wrong radio part ordered.

It went back in a few weeks later for the correct radio part. They swapped the whole head unit (from my memory, without digging up the paperwork), even though I told them its a faulty amp (as I found the bulletin on this site and gave it to them). Well obviously the radio still doesn't work right. The bass cuts out so infrequently, maybe once every week or two, that I dont really care anymore. I spoke to my SA and he said the shop foreman says my car doesnt fit the bulletin profile.

It goes back in for service in a few weeks and I have kept a log of when the bass drops out, to provide them. Not expecting a resolution though.

Corporate was nice throughout the process, but they went silent after I told them the radio still was not fixed. I was promised a nice cash discount on my next BMW, but I am not holding my breath that will ever materialize.

Agree. The LCI E63 - in my opinion - looks worse than the pre-LCI version. Front in particular looks less aggressive.

Thanks! It is, has all of the interior and exterior carbon fiber bits, it's a dealer order that added all of the M-Performance carbon; mirrors, front splitter, side grilles, side skirts, rear diffuser, and Pro rear spoiler. It just looks black in the pic but it contrasts well with the Alpine and can actually see the carbon in the sun light.

Testing out the factory roof racks with a topper. Disappointed at how loud it is inside the cabin with it on. Similar to if the windows were rolled down. Terrible.

A few years ago I put this BMW roof box on my 535xi and went to central Oregon in late March with a friend. Skis in the box, golf clubs in the trunk. Golfed Friday, skied Saturday, golfed Sunday. In between watched NCAA basketball tournement games and ate lots of pizza. Wind noise? A bit. Weekend fun level? Priceless. It seems more fitting for an X3, tho - but 535xi was way more fun to drive.

I have zero wind noise with my wife's SUV using the same box, but the M5 is terrible. I'm wondering if the carbon fibre roof has less insulation than a metal roof?

Just got the car for couple weeks. Used to have m550i. Man what a difference! All I say is the name M5 speaks for itself! Very impressed!
