Ordered up a set of OEM replacement struts and shocks. Really annoyed about it too. I bought a set if H&R springs and Bilstein Sport shocks. I put them in the car and my wife hates the way the car rides. So I am stuck putting stock parts back on the car.

*sigh*

What to do, what to do.

I didn't put any miles on her today

Cannot wait to move. I will be able to drive her everywhere and not worry about idiotic parking in this overcrowded city.

dropped off at shop to have gear oil changed in transmixer and rear end. Shifts like rifle bolt now! Also stopped at NAPA and got some copper based anti-seize so I can hopefully change my spark plugs this weekend. Hopefully this will be the last maintenance work on this car for a while!

Had another ignition coil go out today. Cost me 50$ for new one.

Heads up for other 330I owners, Bought car at 95k and in 10k miles ive gone through 2 coils so should it happen just replace them all. 100k is end of their useful life.

You can get them online if you search a little for 25-30$ each I just couldn't wait for one in mail.

Also Completely detailed her inside and out. She all purty

Washed it yesterday and applied Zaino Z-8 today, except areas covered by clear bra. On those surfaces, I use Zaino Z-6, as the film guy who installed it on my 335, A3, and Elise says that Z-8 will cause film have a yellow tint, which stands out on light-colored cars like mine.

I had Zaino Z-2 professionally applied when the car was new and again late last year. The detailer recommends using Z-8 after every wash. I've been doing this since the car was new almost 2 years ago with good results.

Actually, I have done a lot for my E92 335i with in this past year and including today.

I got my baby a new catback exhaust, M performance flat bottom with blue and red stitching racing alcantra steering. The M3retrofit paddle shifters with + for up shifts and - for downshifts. All brand new spark plugs. The car purrs like a BAD ass 3 and just recorded 0-60 mph in 4.4 sec with traction control on probably could have gotten it down further by brake torque and disengaging the traction. Anyways love the response on Cobb stg 1 agg 93 oct.

I am not done next up M3 control arms front and rear. Some time this year.

Just today polished the entire leather with BMW leather cleaner. The inside smells like brand new.

It is going on 4 years since I got my car. Each year I added some thing little and the joy continues. I love it even more now then I did the day I bought it.

+1 on that, I get my carpet shampoed professionally every 2-3 months and I clean it inside and out every 1-2 weeks. Looks like new still, Its time consuming but well worth it.

Thanks. They look much better on black interiors though. I have done it before and it took hours because I was documenting it, but this time was quick. About 45mins. The trick is knowing where to pull on each cover to get the fitting out. Then just pop the old bulb out and install the new one.
Generally, each of the rectangular frosted lenses have a cut out on one side to indicate where you'd insert a flat head screw driver and it frees that edge to slide out. The vanity mirror fittings generally drop out windshield side first. It is preferable to use a flat plastic device than a screw driver that can easily scratch plastic. The dome lights are a pain, with both cars it has been a pain to reinstall, reinstall and reinstall the bulbs before all three lights work. This is partly because of the cheap metal prong style that is difficult to ensure a connection is made with the receptacle. Half of the bulbs in this box appeared to be a newer style that has flat contact points in 4 places on the bulbs and they appear to work better.

Here is instructions I did for my M5 as they don't come with any instructions.

Washed this weekend. Put some of that clear bra stuff in the trunk to protect the plastic. I could see it was going to get beat up putting things in the trunk. Doesn't look great, but no one will see it.
Also worked like heck on the tail pipes. PO must never have cleaned them and black is baked on. I got a good bit off. Maybe more over time.

Went to the dealer and got the recall for battery cable done, had it washed, spend $65 on a full gas tank, measured suspension height on all 4 corners, set the time, date, and service info in the drivers console after the battery was disconnected, floored it about 15 times coming back from the dealer, did couple wet drifts along the way as it's drizzling and came to work.
