Morning all.
Mike here, from Newcastle. Had my 320i for 6 weeks, loved most of it (bit underpowered) but its just a step to a 330 which i'll be looking at next year when my bonus come through and then maybe a 335i the year after Would love some input on this thread if anyone has any experience with N46 timing chain issues. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=887275 Thanks. Morning....
Tony, Northwest (Wigan).... Picked up my LMB 330d M Sport a couple of weeks ago.. Having been an owner of a 204hp 330d Sport and an E39 530d Sport, it was business as usual going back to the relatively lazy 3 litre train engine, with tweak more power. Enjoying it so far, it does have a few small niggles as it's a 2006 however i'm normally pretty good at the basics (deflapped both my other diesels) and can service cars myself. I've already ordered and received an emulator from Italy to fool the ELV, when the steering lock fault appears. I'm aware my car has had this fault already, very early in its life. I'm sure if I get any gremlins, you guys will be a plethera of help to assist me enjoy it further. Look forward to posting and helping others when required... My 530d had almost 200k miles on it before I moved it on! It was probably the best car I've ever owned, so the E90 has alot to live up to. My 330d Sport was a low miles minter.... But I was never in love with it.... it felt a bit lacking in character, which the 5er had oodles of. Onwards and upwards with the newer 330d M Sport. |

New to BMW
New to the forum and new to owning a BMW, bought this last week.
Really like some of the cool gadgets, like the bmw professional radio and the led lights under door handles. I'm easily pleased. |

Hi guys - newbie
Hi guys
Just got my first BMW 320i M Sport Coupe I've heard the engines are not great but how are they in your experience? I have a couple of questions 1. I have had h8 bulbs to replace they yellow Halogen lights in the front and the light error message has come on. I am going to go back to the person who fitted them but will the light cause the car any trouble? 2. I want to change the interior lights, please can you tell me which led fitments fit the main dome, map lights and footwell? Are they 501's or a different size. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks in advance |

Noob here picked up my E92 325i SE on saturday from Edinburgh, loving it so far but had a stick vanos valve yesterday morning causing cylinder misfiring! But all seems to be running cool now Looking forward to some subtle modding

Evening All!
Picked up my 335i Touring about 4 weeks ago now from Jason Barker @ Birds garage. Looked for one for the best part of 6 months and when this one came up I just had to have it. Going to put up a build thread shortly as it it hasn't and certainly won't be staying standard!! Any members in the Newbury/Reading area? Cheers Nobber aka Paul |

Hi guys,
Potential new bmw owner from Adelaide, Australia. I joined cause initially I want to query dealer pricing, especially on outgoing E93 cabrio versions because the new 4 series will replace it. Dealers just dont seem to want to budge from sticker price. What gives |

New to the forum BMW 335i coupe owner
Hi, been watching the forum since buying my pre-reg'd E92 at the beginning of last year. Now thought it was time to say hello and start participating in the chats now that I've lost the BMW virgin tag.

Hi all,
New to BMW's and just upgraded to a 335d e91, thought I'd better say hello. No plans just yet, just keeping it clean and getting used to the power but in time plan to get it re-mapped and get the stereo upgraded. Cheers Ollie |

Hi there from Belfast
Just bought this 330i from an independent in Cardiff, it's my 7th BMW but first e90. I also have a 205 gti which has been my daily for the last 3 years while the wife has a volvo xc90. I've bought the lip spoiler from those boys on eBay so should get that next week, also got some new wheel centres and m badges as the current ones were tatty. Want to get a rear defuser and black grills next. |

Hi my name is Andrew and I'm thinking about buying the 320si limited edition. Is there anyone on here who owns/owned one before?
I have read that the engines were unreliable and needed replaced! Is this true or is it just rumour? Any info would be great thanks! |

Hellooo,im Mark ,from north nottinghamsire, had a 335d for about 3 months now,had issues with it at first (DPF failed, all brakes needed replacing, intercooler had a hole in it),now DPF deleted and mapped to suit,Brembo HP2000 pads all round with Brembo discs and a little bit of airbox modifying to keep it cool due to being hideously close to the turbos (heat shield ,cold feed into airbox and K&N filter),running sweet as a nut now, owned a lot of performance cars in my years (inc eight skylines,M3,AMG mercedes etc etc etc),bought the 335d to save me a bit of money while i save for an R35 GTR(intended to be a "just add fuel" car to stop me spending on modifications),will prob keep the 335d when i get the R35 as i love it so much, heres a couple of pics anyway
