With an possible M7 in the works, is there no rethinking about the engine possible!?
An 5.0ltr.V10TT based on the "Baukasten"-Engine-Cylinder seems to be the only engine to create an must-have-feeling over the existing M760i and Alpina B7 Models. And then this V10 with a bit less hp could find his way into the new M5. |

They have the nerve to keep production on the twin turbo 6.0l V12 but don't have the nerve to develop a new V8? It wouldn't bother me as much as it does if the normal fleet's N63 wasn't so similar to the S63. Look at it this way. They had more interest in changing to idrive 5.0 than to develop a new V8 engine. And this is coming from a company that calls itself Bavarian MOTOR Works. Sad.

You do understand that the electronics division and engine group are two completely separate entities, right? The electronics team doesn't wait around for the engine group to create a new motor before they're allowed to do their jobs. They have goals and milestones that they need to hit that are completely independent from what other groups inside the company are doing.

Based on the oversteer, there's a good chance this model is RWD. I sure hope AWD is an option, not standard.

Well, with that large collar nut on the front axle, AWD is a given, but details of the system will come in due time. Expect it to be different from X5M/X6M. |

Front looks low and aggressive albeit clearly with some unfinished panels. The rear however looks so far off the ground to be positively NOT anywhere near the correct ratio with the rest of the forward facing car.
Please BMW, not another 4 series lookalike!!!! And the headlights look to make the F10forward slash11 the Last of the Mohicans, now merged with the grilles..... |

Plot twist:
This is actually the new M7. The M6 becomes the M8. The current M3 and M4 become the new M5/M6, respectively. The M2 becomes the new M4, and BMW releases a 4 door version named the M3. All is then right with the world. |
