Long time no see, DC. Glad to see you're still shooting. Usual stellar work. Nicely done.

Thanks Mark.

Bought a M4 Competition X-drive Convertible, so got active again.

Looks like the photography Forum is close to dead. I stopped receiving notices and just kind of faded away.

I need to get back into photography. I started cycling 8 years ago and got into that so heavily that the photography took a back seat. I bought a refurbed 24-105 F4L II about a year ago and haven't taken a shot with it yet.

That's a great, versatile lens.

I switched to Sony in 2018, and use their 20-70mm f/4 as my walkaround lens.

I sold my original 24-105 years ago with the intention of getting the new version. But then I put it off and never got back to it until last year.

I have a Sony DSC-RX10 MkIV that I use a lot. It's a good travel camera as it has a decent lens with a huge 24-600mm range. But I've always found the menu system on it to be far less intuitive than Canon's. I probably just need to practice with it more.

I've recommended the RX10 to more than one person. It's very versatile.

Speaking of the Sony superzoom, took this in Antarctica of a crabeater seal, it always makes me smile.

Manual focus is really tough these days. The camera bodies are not designed to help you.

Great BIF, DC. The level of detail is astounding.

Sony a9III, hand held with FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS, 60-fps, pre-capture at .3-sec, sitting close to a feeder. It's hard to screw up with that combo.

Great shots.

Good luck with your Parkinson's. I know that it's tough.
