Project Gamma Resonator Delete/X-Pipe
Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they good quality? Have been trying to search the forum, but all I could find was negative reviews for the company in general due to intakes.
Given that the Dinan ones are always on backorder, I'm thinking of getting these instead. Can I assume they are similar quality? https://shopprojectgamma.com/collect...sonator-delete |

They all do the same thing. Pretty much a copy of the Dinan pipes but most likely slightly lesser quality. You shouldn't have any issues if you decide to go with these. However, they recently bumped up their price from 399 to 499. Considering the Dinan is just 100 bucks more and on some websites it's on sale for 548 I think you should wait if you want better quality but then again how often do people look underneath your car?

Looks like Dinan ships by 9/27. I decided to go with them for $40 more.
Didn't realize that Project Gamma just increased their prices. Would rather stick with a name brand for only $40 difference. |

Let me know how it goes UncleMakiak. I'm curious to hear if there is any kind of drone or not. I have researched and no one really talks about drone..

you're better off just going resonator delete. The sound is negligible. I've run both as i too was struck by the inability for Dinan to drop ship these from whatever company they have fab them.

I had the Project Gamma resontaros installed last week and the sound difference is amazing! You can tell that the stock resonators were holding back the M-Performance exhaust. It sounded tame (almost stock like) before.
I'm not sure if a just a resonator delete would make a huge difference to a stock car, but the combination with the M-Performance is definitely great. Car sounds so much healthier/exotic/free flowing between 3000 and 6000 RPMs while below 3000 RPMs it didn't change much vs stock. Here's a short video from the shop who did the work. They showed me the clamps and they were wonky so I decided to have them welded instead. Last edited by AmooManiak; 09-17-2024 at 01:44 PM.. |

if you're buying PG stuff, just check alibaba instead
I had the Dinan resonator and liked it a lot, but then changed to an Akra. Have you checked Extreme Powerhouse? It ended up being dropped shipped from Dinan weeks later and their Dinan CS sucks from personal experience. |

I had the Dinan X-Pipe on my previous M5. 0 difference in fitment/quality/finish between PG and Dinan. One could even say PG looks better.

I believe so too. I was trying to find posts with similar setups with the MPE and x-pipes on the forums, but couldn't find anything. Would definitely recommend it.
At first I was worried that lack of valves would be an issue/make it loud or drone, but there is 0 droning that I'm noticing and you can still drive in comfort when you want. |
