I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Verus Engineering Fluid Cap set and confirm if they fit on the B58 for the X3. Also what other alternatives have others tried and worked.

I messaged Verus directly and they were not able to confirm if the set would fit on the X3. This was their response to me;

"Unfortunately, we cannot confirm. The only models we know 100% all these caps will work with are the (G20) M340ix, (G42) M240i, (G22/G23) M440, and (G29) Z4. Even though the engines are the same (B58), BMW has used different OEM caps from model to model. It's possible one or two or the caps may fit, but it's also possible that none of them will fit."

I got the coolant covers/heat shield and downstar bolts as a gift and the one on the large clear expansion tank does not sit all the way flush on the stock cover. I used double sided foam tape on the edges to make sure it doesn't fall off...lol

Thanks for your reply and the pics. So I guess the guy from Verus was right, even with the same B58 engine, BMW uses different OEM caps from model to model.
