the oil thermostat gasket is easy to do because it is easily accessible and only a few bolts and everything easily pops out.

The OFHG is a PITA because you have to remove the intake manifold to access that last bolt, and you need a shit ton of replacement parts because alot of the gaskets and seals for the intake manifold are single use.

I would suggest you always do the oil thermostat gasket when you have the OFHG replaced. They both go from pliable rubber to a hard brittle plastic type state about the same rate. Make sure when you are checking for leaks you wipe underneath the oil thermostat housing. I didn’t see this mentioned on the list and it’s a must do on these.
