Im not there yet, once i’ve maxed out my current fuel system, then i’ll address whats next. Like lpfp, injectors, & an intake. Just have to wait and see..Im already spinning tires at the top of 2nd gear, sooo we’ll see what 24/25psi is like in 3rd and 4th….Probably going to 18’s and wider/softer tires:.. So I just did a boost pressure test again after making some adjustments. The leak is much smaller. But after calling and talking to Turbosmart about my 50/50 blow off valve leaking during this test they said their will be some leakage from the vent to atmosphere areas but nothing the turbo cant over power. So I just did three tests so tell me what you guys think. These were all leak down tests starting at 30psi.
30psi-20psi = 8 secs 30psi-10psi = 22 secs 30psi-0psi = 47 secs I think this should be ok what do you guys think?

Well put the car back together and still cant hit target in 1st-3rd waste gate opens and I start losing boost. Then I tried in 4th and 5th gear and it gets closure to target only 1 psi off and holds from 3600-5200rpm (when I let off). Seems more normal. I did another leak down on the whole system minus charge pipe and it held 25 psi longer then when I just did the turbo, inlet and intake in my previous post. I wonder if I have a leaky manifold seal or map Oring or something. Im gonna take that off today and check everything.

Not anymore I designed a block off plate for rhe stock diverter valve location and lut a tial 50mm BOV on my charge pipe.

UpDate: I found my issue. It was the exhaust its to restrictive. The collector where my down pipe exit was 3.25” and it went down to a single 2.5” before going to dual 2.5” exhaust. I removed my exhaust and I was able to hit my targets with 88-89% wgdc.
I started building my new exhaust yesterday and will finish it today. I opened up the bottom of my down pipe to 3.5” and did a single 3.5” to the axle and then dual 3” out. I will post pics later today.

I do know that PWG cars and EWG cars have very different values when it comes to wgdc. aEWG cars tend to be high then PWG cars for a number of reason.

Hard to lean on it when it's hot for sure.. hopefully all goes well for you pushing ahead with higher boost.
Had ps2 for 5 years....ran amazing without a hiccup until I took it a little far....chipped an exhaust blade. Made great power and very resposive. To early to say with the 750..its spools slower for me. I am only on base map though..have been dealing with boost leaks... pcv issues .. and now wmi leaks so I haven't got to far.. Waiting on some parts from uk.... |

I feel like I got it all sorted now as the system holds 30psi well and leak down with the engine is minimal when I do a full shsyem pressure test.

Ps i did a big build on a Subaru years back...100 plus dyno tests...the exhaust merge caused major back pressure...as we went bigger , power jumped massively...actually silimilar to your size. |

Same!! My car ran strong on PS2 and had only little isses here and there over time but nothing major but this build and swap over to the 750 has been a journey with trying to get this thing dialed after the build.
I dont know if you follow my youtube or instagram In House Performance YouTube but Ive had to pull the motor twice and thought I had blow by when I was pressure testing but it ended up being those damn pcv ports in the head that was leaking out of the oil fill cap. And then the exhaust issue so yeah its been exhausting but hopefully got it all figured out. Got a revision from Cary did some pulls today but its to hot even with meth Im still in the 100s IATs so Ill get some better data tonight when it cools down.
