M5C Finally on the Boat!
Super excited.
M5 Competition Tanzanite Blue / Tartufo - Competition Package - Driving Assistance - Executive Package - B&W - Style 810m wheels If anyone is interested in my timeline it looked like this Order accepted: 2/16 Scheduled for production: 4/15 Production Begins: 4/16 External Body ASM: 4/17 Paint Shop: 4/17 Assembly: 4/19 Quality Check: 4/20 Final ASM: 4/21 Ready for Transport: 4/23 Awaiting Carrier: 4/24 Dispatched from Factory: 4/25 At Port: 4/26 In Transit: 5/3 Tracking the vessel information is fun but I am becoming OCD about it. Looks like it will arrive on the west coast late May. Crossing my fingers to have it ~2nd week of June! I was surprised at how long it spent at port. From the horror stories here I thought it would be 2-4 weeks. |

You will be very pleased with the Tartufo I think.
My timeline looked similar but shifted a month earlier. I managed to crank out 1100 miles to get the break in done 2.5 weeks after delivery. I'm at 1600 miles now. |

I found one that the dealer ordered and it was exactly how I wanted it. I purchased it when it was going through the Panama Canal. It was fun tracking the boat but it felt so long but it really wasn't. When the car was delivered, I drove it for a day before dropping it off for a few days for PPF and ceramic coating. That was hard. I should probably spend some time this weekend looking into why I struggle with delayed gratification

Hi Dew
Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you found one that is perfect for you. The wait is agonizing but I'm sure will be well worth it. As my timeline above states... I've been waiting since the day I placed the order back in mid Feb. Course I've waited 20 years so whats another 2 weeks. LOL Also admit to trying to figure out a way to slip the captain an in$entive payment to push the ship's engines a little faster... lol If you feel up to it would love to see some pics of yours! |
