M5 vs M5C vs M5CS

So I own a Base M5, extremely fun car, but I wish it just had better handling. To my understanding the M5C is a little better handling than a base and a CS is an upgraded version of a C. Does anyone know exactly what parts are different on a C/CS, end of the day they are basically the same chassis so I assume parts are interchangeable!

Thanks!!!

Bumping this since I was researching the same and the info maybe was not available when this was first asked?

Besides the weight reduction, carbon roof/hood, less sound dampening, ceramic brakes standard, lighter seats, non powered trunk etc

For front handling, steering feel this or similar, Dinan/Carbahn:
https://www.dinancars.com/products/s...arts/D280-0019
https://carbahn.com/product/cbf90-31...f9x-bmw-m5-m8/

For handling upgrade in the rear:
https://ind-distribution.com/collect...nsion-link-kit
https://carbahn.com/product/cbf90-31...ink-kit-m5-m8/

Basicly removing soft bushings or arms and going for
more precise stiffer bushings/bearings/arms and getting more adjustability.

Then is ecu, steering and tcm software:

How close this actually takes you I dont know, there is also the matter of different tires, wheels, suspension, ride height and alignment if not more.

If the steering rack is the same between the models it should be close or the same?

Then comes things like stiffer engine mounts, stiffer rear anti sway bar and so on.

Reviewers seem to love the CS changes, then again depending on roads driven on defaulting to comfort settings for more normal roads and sportier settings for close to perfect roads like in central europe.

At some point a custom setup of dialed in suspension, correctly aligned and lowered abit from a base car must surpass even a CS but it seems like a very good stock setup, hopefully someone with actual experience can chime in 😀

The support of the seats in the CS and lowered driving position surely must impact the driving experience aswell and most parts for a similar setup as the CS or better seem attainable, maybe besides "CS" sway bars and engine mounts as per now?
