2018 M5 Base Pre-LCI or LCI?

Guys,

I own a base model 2018 BMW M5. I'm looking to put a rear diffuser on it.

When going to purchase, I have the options to select either Pre-LCI or LCI. Can anyone explain which comes on my model? Everything is stock currently. I don't want to purchase the incorrect version. I'm a newbie to customization.

I appreciate your advice!

Hello,

I am not sure what your question is, but a 2018 is pre-LCI.

As far as I know, the rear diffuser should be the same for pre-LCI and LCI. Same fit/tabs.

As someone new to the BMW world, I had to look up "LCI" as well: Life Cycle Impulse. It appears to be a BMW specific marketing term for what everyone else calls a mid-cycle facelift.

Many explainers say, "it isn't just a facelift!" Fair enough.
