Yes, I didn't mean it could be partially open or closed but rather open at all times. Which leads into below

That's a very valid point. Here is the fuse description for my F90. Highlight in yellow is where the fuses 203 and 206 appear. Not sure what it's actually affecting on the cooling and engine.

And yes m5c comes with sport exhaust and the regular one unless you option it (in sound countries you can) comes with the base exhaust as I call it (you may or may not get the m sport exhaust standard in the usa I'm not 100% sure) |

Also related to the M-Sport, I was asking if the valve behavior was tied to the exhaust specifically or due do the differences between the base and comp cars ecu/tune, etc. |

My LCI F90 is in the shop so haven't had a chance to try yet. A video I found on Youtube claims that it will affect parking assist on a 435i. Not sure if this is the case with F90's. If anyone with parking assist can test, please report back. Thanks.

I have not yet encountered any parking assistance problems, though.

I have had my fuses pulled since the day I posted the comment that I pulled them, and have had no issues whatsoever. I can say confidently, on LCI, I’ve had no detectable issues whatsoever.

It's been over 5 years now and absolutely no issue with unplugging the cables from the flaps. |

I think this is the better option than pulling the fuses, but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out where the plugs are exactly.
