any dealers taking pre-orders/deposits/wait lists for '25 M5?
Hey just trying to find out if anybody knows of any dealers creating wait lists for the ‘25 m5? My lease is up in Nov and I’m waffling on what to get next… currently thinking that I’ll buy my lease and wait for the ‘25 which should become available near the end of ‘24… definitely wouldn’t be mad about an extra year with my current car, which I’m still very much in love with.

People are going to jump on that first-year model, and I hear there is a "Red Label" version coming and I would wait for that one.

I will pay a mark up for the wagon if the rumors of it coming are true. Keeping the f90 as I just bought it out of the lease.

It will be impossible at first and I am an impulsive buyer.

M5 Touring is not going to be a limited edition car.

Yes, buying the 1st year hybrid M5 is going to be an eye-opener for many people.

Is this is a fantasy rumor or material info? BMW NA has not confirmed that the car is coming to the US 100%. It could be your internal sales person just saying he is putting your name in his note pad.

As for the note pad, yes, that is how my dealer does their lists. It is how I got the first M5 CS at MSRP. I emailed him that I was interested in the car 2 years before it was officially announced. I've done the same thing with the M5 Touring because I really want one.

Yea, his dealer knocked it out of the park for me... at least in comparison to the dealer I used for my first/previous M5. No bullshit, knows what he's doing, and gets things done fast. He's one of the old guard. You'll think he isn't doing anything because he's already done it, and you expected it to take longer because of prior crappy experiences with other dealers.

The dealership I’ve typically bought from still hasn’t had much interest in confirming if they are doing or even want to do a list for the M5T yet.

My strategy for the F90 and moving forward is to buy the second or third model year after they work out any major kinks. Then get the LCI model 3-4 years later. The novelty of being the first wears off quick.

I was at my dealership today trading in my wifes 2018 m550i and I requested to be placed on a G99 "list". The manager was not sure it was coming stateside but would be happy to add me if that happens. CA mentioned that in 2 to 3 months a bmw rep / specialist of some kind was coming to town and she would ask them at that time.

I ordered my first F90 in January 2018 and it arrived in May 2018. When I went in for my first service in July the 2019s were already on the lot (as to be expected) . Remember the 2018 was a 5 month run not arriving until early 2019 I believe shortly before the 19's hit the ground. That is the only drawback if the '25 ends up being a short run before the '26s arrive. I can't recall why the first '18s arrived as late as they did but I wish I had waited a few months as great deals were to be had on the '19s and it would have helped when I traded it in. I picked up my 2022 this past July well knowing the 2023s were on there way but last summer was slim pickins.
