Lowering Springs That Keep Stock Comfort?

Anyone have any recommendations? Just wanting it a bit lower and to feel a bit better around corners. Overall driveability as is feels great to me

The Eibach seem to be the most mild spring from the research I did. I bought H&R F90 springs. Are you starting with base or comp springs and if comp, 2021 or later?

M5C is already lowered 3/8” so subtract that from whatever is advertised as the lowering and look at your car now to estimate whether it would be enough for your desires. Having a Comp may also mean that the mildest lowering springs like the Eibach will make the least difference in handling. The 21 and up Comps have revalued struts that ride less stiffly than 19-20, so that will help with whatever you buy.

How do you feel with the H&R springs? Did it change much or become too stiff or you think Eibach would probably be what I'm looking for?

Just looking for as close to stock as I can get with maybe slightly better feel in the corners

Someone with a 21+ Comp would be the best person to answer that. I like the H&R M5 springs. I did not want to go as low as the H&R M550ix springs and also was not sure if they would be stiff enough. I did not choose the Eibach because I was not sure how much of a handling improvement they would add. Evolve suggested they were no stiffer than stock but liked the visual effect of the lowering.

They're like $100 cheaper than the Eibach as well which doesn't matter really just debating on if Eibach which people seem to say adds no real performance difference is worth it when I can go H&R and get some minorly increased performance while mostly keeping the stock feel if not even feeling better.

If you have searched for reviews, you have probably found that about everyone buying springs for M5 buys them for looks. Comments about performance are next to nonexistent. At best you get a comment that ride quality did not suffer or did not suffer much. No objective performance testing seems to be available.

I have MSS adjustable on my M550i and lowered 25mm. It's stiffer than factory which is good as stock is too soft and bouncy. In daily use it's very close to stock comfort. I'm sure it would be even closer if not lowered. The MSS are dual rate springs which is why it's stiff and comfortable at the same time.

I am in a pre LCI M5C. I went to H&R M550 springs and it got rid of some of the harshness in the comp springs. It’s about the perfect balance now.
