Advice Requested: Cast Iron Waste Pipe

cast iron will start give away after 50yrs regardless.
avoid further issues, and replace cast iron piping.

i caught a leak at the ceiling of my house, toilet right above it.
the elbow below the toilet was the original cast iron pipe from the 70s.

You could try some car body underseal spray.
