Thanks for posting. Seems pretty legit. A stock 720S will 60-130mph in 5.6ish seconds.

That modified M5 was probably a 5.8-5.9

M5 represents very well with a 1000lb weight disadvantage.

Just imagine a 3200lb M5 !

Man that 720S was just ready to keep going and going ... crazy how fast the M5 is though too. Wow.

As expected and Ill bet the passing speed where the 720 pulled the F90 was well into the 1XX's.... the street car here is the F90 (with the mods) as most of those "street" races dont have runways with no cars.

The passing speed in the first race was 140 mph (230 kmh).

Having just spent a week with a brand-new new 2020 McLaren I can honestly say if you like or love cars the style, engineering, details, and more importantly the consistent performance gets into your bones.

All you want to do is just drive, anywhere. I want a 720S Spider in the worst way. And even though I have not yet driven the F90 M5 it's clearly an absolute monster.

Stock 720S will run anywhere between 5.2-5.6 depending on traction and DA. Track, Track, ESC Dyn is very important to get most out of the car. M5 is already a rocket ship, I can't believe how fast mine gets moving. Tuned has to be a riot.

If the GT2 loses the wing, it'll do more damage. Ive driven both but you get better bang for your buck out of the GT2. You can't beat Porsche.

Yeah saw this last week. It's crazy how fast this tuner M5 is when you know how fast the 720S is.

Orange aside I'd take that 720S.

Absolutely lovely car.

Lovely.

For the price of 720S, I'd buy M5 Competition for everyday use and M8 Competition for track, strip out all the heavy interior bits, de cat, remap, lightweight wheels and sticky tyres.

Unbelievable how fast the GT2 RS is, especially considering the high downforce it has (and more so compared to the slippery 720S) and the absurd lap times.

There’s also a video out there of the 2RS beating just about everything.

Try the new McLaren GT. It's much easier to get in and out of due to it design. I only scrapped the front valance once. This car has a different mission than the 720S although it is powered by a detuned version of the 720S twin-turbo V8.

They also gave it a more compliant and comfortable ride because it doesn't have the 720S trick suspension.

You expect to break it I didn't. Now if you are fairly tall then that may be an issue but comfort wise it's very comfortable and a nice place to spend time.
