Eisenmann secondary downpipes and race muffler are installed now. So 2 out of the 5 exhaust components changed. Besides the cold start I'm surprised at just how quiet this setup is when cruising. The oem primary's and midpipes do such a great job controlling the sound while cruising that you don't even realize anything has been changed. Now when you put your fut down holy balls. Loud, clean, and gunshots. This is by far the most Jekyll/hide setup I've had.

I also coded off ASD, which makes all the difference in the world. Intake noise in the front, exhaust note in the back, as nature intended. A little tip for 2020 and newer owners; there is no longer a separate ASD module in the trunk. It is part of a huge amp now so physical unplugging is not an option anymore. MyCarly does not work fully either. The only thing that worked was the bimmercode app. I did a wired connection with a obd2/enet/lightning combo. Worked like a charm. Made the interior lights red too while I was at it. Now the only thing the exhaust button does now is turn on/off the gunshots.

3D kit is on now too. Lip, skirts, and both diffusers. All painted on top with a cf line around the whole bottom of the car. Really cleaned up the kit as it was too much cf otherwise imo. Fitment is practically perfect too, very impressed. The only way to get that last bit of fitment is to go betalink, to avoid tape issues. It's so minors though that none can even tell and even after pointing it out they had to practically put their face on the car to see. Tint is 50% sides/rear and 70% front. Kept it clean.

Since Hawaii is under mandatory Quarantine and I'm working remote you folks get junk suburbia in front of house pics for now. Just waiting on the HRE's and then I will work on a proper shoot.

Super clean!

That kit makes the car beg for 21" wheels though. Any plans for bigger wheels?

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Gotta have some rubber to show. Bigger would hurt the look IMHO. In this case I'd vote in favor of keeping the stock wheels (they look great here) or at least keeping the stock sizing and NOT going all black... for some reason black wheels kill the look of green cars for me.

Thank you sir! It's definitely the color combo. People said the same thing about my old e46. This color combo is timeless and never really seen too much anymore. So it almost always comes off special. Downside of course is this color combo requires restraint. Very easy to go from classy to trashy.

Waiting on my HRE's to show up.

I think the answer is it depends here. First I agree with you, just say no to all black wheels. Second, in regards to wheel diameter it comes down to type of wheel. Monoblock single color could get away with 20s. Step lip 3-piece wheel go 21 as the face is only a 20. Imo of course.

So the question is what set of HRE's are being built in what color and what build?

Been good. Crazy with all this Coronavirus stuff. With one of the kids getting his license and his own car we were able to go from 4 doors to 2 doors (even though the wife was on the fence about a 2 door car). Ended picking up an M850i for a good price.

Sweet ride!

Congratulations!

I'd like to test drive one see how it compares to M5.

My sons last year in college next year. We just got him a VW Golf TSI SE.

Wife and I do a lot of road trips. Trying to figure what's next.

Loving my F80 but we will see...

That M850 is Boss!

Very nice upgrade! Congrats and speed safely!

Btw we definitely need to get some pics together when this all blows over. Gives you time to get her lowered with wheels. Hopefully my wheels show up one of these days.

Thanks Kimo. You might be waiting for a while for that photoshoot cause my wife has no idea what wheels she wants. When it comes to these kinds of decisions it takes her forever and a day. :

Thanks for your interest! The car had it's paint leveled the other week and it's currently at Xero Wraps getting full Xpel coverage. Wheels should ship this week so hopefully something soon.

Here are two bad pics showing the fitment of the 3D front and skirts. Not sure that I posted these yet in here:

I can’t get enough of this color.

I know you have wheels on the way, but the competition wheels look plenty good. Looking forward to seeing this build progress.

Thank you sir! Here are four more junk pics for you. Just picked the car up yesterday from the detail/full Expel. Finish is unreal. I had no idea how much metallic flake would be brought out. Xero Wraps tucked all edges too, truly amazing work.

After the wheels get here professional photos. For now covid garage style:

Check out the flake:
