Auto Talent | Gruppe M Intakes for F90 M5
If you’re searching for an increase in engine performance, look no further. GruppeM air intake systems are precision-engineered to provide an increase in horsepower and torque. The GruppeM BMW M5 F90 carbon fiber ram air intake system was designed with K&N to dramatically improve airflow across the entire RPM range while also reducing intake temperatures. Every intake system comes with a proprietary filter element made exclusively for GruppeM by K&N. The result is a tremendous improvement in horsepower and torque throughout the entire power band of the engine by utilizing the "ram air effect" which forces a greater volume of air into the engine and increases the density of the intake charge. Each intake application is custom engineered for your vehicle using the highest quality carbon fiber weave and is designed to fit perfectly with minimal installation difficulty. The result is a carbon fiber ram air intake system that looks as good as it performs. The large capacity filter case was designed to make use of engine room capacity to the maximum. The carbon filter case inhales running wind from the front directly, while intercepting heat in the engine room. As a result of repeating the chassis dynamo test and the actual running test, the performance is improved in the whole area including the torque-up of the low speed range, the sharp rise of boost, the response up at high rotation speed region, etc. All of it is made of real carbon of Japan production. You will be satisfied with the feeling of presence in the engine room and also powerful air intake sound when you open the bonnet. |

I have zero hesitation or soak that I was getting time to time with the Eventuri... Plus, it helps keep the engine bay clean having a closed system... I believe there's a reason Eventuri recently came out with a 2.0 version of the intake where it adds a component so the air flow is more directed into the intakes... Their version of a somewhat closed box intake system so to speak... That's been my experience with GruppeM... Not that many look under the hood of your cars but it's a delight to see it when you do have to go under the hood... Full support of GruppeM from fit and finish to how agreeable it is to the car... Full support of Auto Talent as well... Going on 6 cars they've done work on now? Integrity is key to me and they've been nothing but honest and transparent... Always... |

Very honest review. Do you think that maybe your drivetrain is still adapting to it?

Audible wise the Eventuri is much much much louder and noticeable (again v1.0 because never tried v2.0) so if you are after sound, then Eventuri 2.0 is probably the route you want to go... Closed box system + not as much audible + slightly sexier aesthetics would be GruppeM... YMMV, but my experience has been my car not really feeling the Eventuri, whereas with GruppeM, she hasn't had a single moment of hesitation or hiccups... |

Eventuri = more flashy intermittent performance issues and louder... GruppeM = less flashy, more covered, better performance and not as audible... There were times I cringed a bit with the Eventuri at wot and even on quiet streets at night... If this was an Evo or STi, okay fine... But I'm not sure our cars need to take me back to my blow off valve days lol... Also on the Eventuri, I felt the scoops didn't line up quite right inside my grills... Again, nowhere near an engineer, but just solely based on common sense, it... well, it didn't make a lot of sense, lol... |

Guys - the key information is missing here as well as on your website. What are the gains? At peak and also throughout the band. Dyno?

Most people wait around for it to be installed. If you run it on the dyno first it will need a serious cool down before we can install the intake and dyno again. |
