M5 Competition programs are painful; curious to see if this is temporary or permanent regarding residuals. MB/Audi have already gone this route.

Hopefully incentives for the MCP start to trickle in; in my case I had to bite the bullet.

If residuals are this bad for competition I wonder if at lease end the car could be worth more than what the residual is.

Competition models are limited. This including the fact that it's awd makes me wonder if the depreciation would be lower than estimated.

Could be wrong.

This is the new normal for these cars according to my salesman, but I don't know if he knows what he's talking about or not. I ended up buying because leasing with these terms didn't make sense to me.

if audi and MB can get away with it why not BMW? my rs7 residual was 58% and while not a major shock it would have been nice having something in the 60% range like bmw

you think M5C residuals are bad? Take a look at M2C residuals...and people are paying over sticker for those!

M2 Competition (2019MY)

15k miles / 45% residual
12k miles / 47% residual
10k miles / 48% residual
No incentives offered

Yup, my CA said this is likely the reality for the competition models since BMW FS expects they'll see meaningful track time.

I doubt people are gonna be taking M5 CEs to the track frequently.

Anything is possible. There are usually great incentives around the holidays.

I just ran a calculation based off of what BMW has on their site for leasing programs for this month and it seems residuals haven't changed on the 2019 M5.
