Everytime a newer model comes out people come out on the forums saying they don't like the new one and the old one looks better. Every single time.

It will happen again when the F90 is old and there is a new one.

As far as I am concerned the interior is at least a decade more modern and more stylist. The F10 looks dated in almost every angle. But it should. It's been a while.

To each their own but all this talk about I don't like the new one will end in a few months. It's what happens all the time.

So you received a 22000 pound Sterling discount on a new M5?

Agreed.

The last badass looking M5 was the E60. The latest one looks uninspired...

His was a registered car but this sort of discounting is common in the UK.

When I was trying to find mine the list price was NZ$286k but they dropped it to $199k for a brand new M6 but it was just after the end of F13 production so they were offering an F06 at that price. In some countries the sticker price is just stupid and nobody pays anywhere near it.

As the UK is another RHD market I was looking there for F13's that were UK110-120k and they were all available at 80k or so. Then once registered they'd drop to 70k.

I must admit I was always after an F13 so didn't really look at F10 or F90 but it'd be the same.

Honestly, its nothing to do with aggressiveness, I just feel that the F90/G30 simple lacks that style of elegance or a sense of charisma..... I literally just had an epiphany when I saw this picture....

Now imagine a F16 / F86 X6 got stepped on... Idk, as much as I was never a fan of the E60's design because each generation was subjective to its own unique characteristics, and if you didn't LOVE the new generation at the time, you still appreciated it's charismatic presence.

This one... again, idk, maybe it's because I learned how BMW just keeps cutting corners to make an "M" out of a base model.

The F90 simpy looks like a M550 fitted with knock off "M" parts

(these M mirrors look like the fake F8x caps for F30's LOL).

Anyway...

M550i nice tho.

Yep these big BMW's are badly overpriced and always have savage depreciation book value after 4 years probably £20/25k. So even at £80k you are still funding an awful lot of depreciation. Better value in other cars.

Which exact cars have better value that can be daily driven all seasons, carry 4 people, accelerate like a sports car, gorgeous interior? I personally love the look of this new f90 and it’s capabilities. That is why I ordered one.

Wait for the X5M if you want a BMW. Latest Panamera is wonderful to drive

Run something much much cheaper as an everyday that still does 90% of what the M5 does I have a M140i which until recently was on ridiculously low PCP and then put the money into a really nice sports car that holds its value and can be a bit of fun on the track Cayman GT4 and the next one will be epic

Agreed. I had instant Love for the F10. I fell in love with it when Rpim5 posted his pics from his ED on a early production F10 m5.

Exactly.

And Not too many sports cars that are going to win on a street corner against an m5.

This just shows WHY the M5 is a great four door rocket.

And for all the people that say that it doesn’t look aggressive enough, here is what you do.

1- aftermarket wheels.
If possible gold hre’s. If you have a black or white M5 that is going to look killer.

If you’re on a tight budget buying wheels at tirerack for about 2000$ is perfectly acceptable.

2- suspension drop
Kits will come out soon if not already out I think

3- get some tinted windows

Problem solved.

BTW can you name me the cars (stock please, street tires, not tuned or moded bs) that would outrun the m5 consistently on a street corner?

Latest standard Panamera loses everywhere to the F90. Step up to the 680hp Panamera and spend $200k and still accelerate slower and handle worse since it weighs 5200lbs !
